Good evening, Lisa! I carefully packed and then dropped your incredible Camel off at the post office, this afternoon. He has been scanned into the USPS system and has an expected delivery date of Friday! This date is only a guess by the USPS. They are overwhelmed with packages and are doing the best they can. What this means is, your Camel is in the way and you will receive him earlier, later, or right on time. I will peek in on his progress and give you updates. Have a very special night!

Good evening, Lisa! I've just peeked in on the progress of your astonishing camel! He left the Medford, OR Regional Distribution Center headed your way at 2:48AM. He still has an expected delivery date of Fri! I wouldn't be surprised if you receive him tomorrow, since you and I are about 60 miles apart! I packed him well and marked Fragile all over the box as well as telling the postmaster. I'm thinking positive thoughts he'll arrive unharmed! Have a happy night!

Good morning, Lisa. Well, I certainly feel foolish! I had my geography wrong. Pebble Beach is farther down the CA coast than I had thought. There is a beach near Crescent City, CA which bears the same name and I thought this was where you were!!! Anyway, your handsome Camel has made it to San Jose, then left the Distribution Center around 1AM. He is headed your way and is still expected to be in his new home some time tomorrow! I'm sorry you were not happy with the french basket. There were 3 pictures showing the bottom of the basket, it clearly had 3 rattan pieces across the bottom and was divided by rattan piece of wood. I think it was for cooling french bread maybe. I used it as a magazine rack. Very unusual basket. A piece of wood could always be glued on the bottom. Again i am sorry you were not happy.

@panaya1952 thank you. I should've looked closer at the pictures and then inquired; and then when I opened it, I thought the bottom was a separate piece so was quite surprised when it wasn't. Yes, you are right, it can be remedied and it's still a beautiful basket. Thanks for your nice response.
