Hi! I'm Lisa. Thanks for stopping by! I'm excited to style my vintage items from the 30s-90s with your offers. I'm new here and still learning the ropes so feel free to leave me a comment so that I can check out your closet too. :) I also have an Etsy shop with only vintage swimwear but decided to offer additional vintage items here. My shop is https://www.etsy.com/shop/OceanaH2O

thesocalcloset @joeg0524 you think so? I still feel a little lost but I’ll get the hang of it. I’m used to listing, running ads and forgetting about it until it sells!

dbellalimited @thesocalcloset Yes, I note that I am still new and kinda fell into this by accident, but I think you are doing good. The listing sucks. Are you anywhere else besides here.. (dont mention names it will block your post)

dbellalimited Listing is the most time consuming for me anyway. There is listing software that makes it easier if you are multi sites

thesocalcloset @joeg0524 oh wow, I didn’t know they censor! Can’t seem to get away from that. Yes I’m on the one that starts with E for creators. I have my vintage swimwear on there. Unlike Poshmark, it’s not a good idea to mix niches in a store, so I came here to sell everything else. What brought you here?

dbellalimited @thesocalcloset So I started w/ E for clothes (I had a whole wardrobe that I was trying to get rid of..) but it was slow. I did move some collectables there. I then fell into the Big A with, retail Arbitrage & books, and moved that to E as well and its doing ok. My friend suggested here with clothes. And while shopping for books and other clothes, started picking up womens and kids as well. As with any retail variety helps.. so thats the short version..

dbellalimited @thesocalcloset I think the PM Caesar is kind of greedy with his tax. I kind of like the E better. But you do get better pricing levels here. Everything is cheaper on E.

thesocalcloset @joeg0524 ah, A arbitrage, I’ve always wanted to try that but it’s so competitive with the Chinese! I have some friends who did really well with only one or two products that they cornered and kept secret.

thesocalcloset @joeg0524 how did you do with books?
Jun 24Reply
dbellalimited
dbellalimited @thesocalcloset Well mine wasn't actually that complex, and Im still not that good at it. (my location hinders me at the moment) Im not from here- NY originally . But its Local retail clearance then feed it to the beast who is still selling it higher. i would like to eventually grab a product and manufacture it in the east and send it everywhere, lol. Im still in the homework phase. but in the meantime, its this and the books. which is pretty simple..

dbellalimited @thesocalcloset as for the books if you get them cheap usually under 1 then its not bad. Many have a great mark up.. I had many for .10 and sold over 20 so the ROI is fantastic. I day trade when not doing this and the market has been terrible .. so im taking a break for a month of so..

thesocalcloset Hey, sorry I passed out last night! Oh wow! that is a good ROI. Yeah, Ive been trading crypto but my portfolio is literally in the toilet right now. I trade off an on whenever the crypto market is good, but then it tanks for a few years and comes back. So, I'm in the tanking phase for now. Anyway, I'm going to catch up with my stores. I've been gone all day! Hope you had a good day!
