southerngal0724 Oh, thank you so much for your kind greeting. Actually, this picture is of my 94 year-old mom and her Maltese, Missy, who died about four months ago (at 18 years old!) I do have a question: if someone marks an item as "FINAL SALE", does that mean that it is nonreturnable? There are some things that I'd love to purchase, but they've got FS on them, so I figured I'd better know what that means before I make an offer on them!

I have a 7" sterling silver bracelet, very simple and elegant, a few size 5 rings that I may part with, a beautiful 14K yellow gold pendant with pear shaped Kentucky blue stone (blue topaz) with 3 diamonds around it -- very elegant and gorgeous! I'm sorry for the loss of your daddy - mine passed in 1994, and there's not a day I don't think of him, and hear his voice in my head. I lost my husband 8 years ago, so that's a fresher loss. I'll hug my mom A LOT for you tomorrow.

southerngal0724 This is my mama's dog Missy. She's passed on, unfortunately but was definitely spoiled. Lived to be 18! I'm from Naples, FL and Brunswick, GA, but moved to WI to be with my mama. She's 94 now, and lives nearby in a nursing home. She's so cute, but had a stroke and can't speak well anymore, but she still hugs the same way. Thanks for offering help. I think I'm going to need it.

mercedestiffany Your pup is adorable, is he/she blind in one eye looks cloudy maybe just the photo, only reason I ask we recently adopted a sweet gentle giant doberman and he is blind in one eye and its cloudy like that, but we just love him to pieces and he gets on great with our 3 little dogs😊

southerngal0724 @mercedestiffany Yes, poor Missy had a cataract in that area, so the eye became cloudy. She lived to be 18, and unfortunately passed in November. She was the love of my mom's life. I got the dog for her after my daddy died. It was amazing how well she got around in the house, and with two kitties. She was just a sweetheart.

We actually lost our 7yr old doberman Patron (like the tequila) December 7th to a common enlarged heart issue male dobes have 😢😢😢 we adopted our new baby Christmas eve, BEST...MOST HEALING Christmas ever...and he had glacoma as well in that one eye. They bless us for a brief time with there unfailingly loyalty and whole hearted love🐕💖🐶💓

southerngal0724 @jossygirrl You are too kind. I had steel rods fused to my spine when I was 13 because I had severe curvature of the spine. The surgeon damaged a nerve in my right hip and some days my right leg just goes out on me! I get so embarrassed, but there's nothing I can do about it. I just try to live my life to the best of my ability on my good days.

I got her for mama after my daddy passed because she was so lonely. The little furbaby was my mama's life. Now mama is in a nursing home at age 94, and doing remarkably well. I just miss having her nearby! I also enjoyed meeting you, and I feel that I will be back in your closet sooner than later!!! Hope your Wednesday is an awesome one.

This is my 94 year-old mama in the picture, who absolutely adored the dog. Mama is now in a nursing home, and had a stroke, so she doesn't understand that Missy is gone, for which I'm very grateful.

6151richmond @southerngal0724 The best way is to take the pictures outside or a room with lots of light. For apps, try A Beautiful Mess to lighten dark pics, text and collages. Bazaart is another great app for editing and brightening and it's one of my favorites.

I took pictures of about 10 pairs today. Just need to tell their story, and get them out there for people to see. This is fun, but it's also work.

She lives in a nursing home, and I'll be going to see her today. She still has a lot of spunk and get-up-and-go!! southerngal0724 You know what -- my mama is determined to be 100, too! What is it about that magic age 100? My mama had her second pacemaker implanted in 2012, and we just had a follow-up with the doctor last month, and he said her battery should last another 12 years -- and my mama looked at ma and said "Great! I knew I'd hit 100!" So funny, but she's had a bad stroke last year, so she can't talk much anymore. That's such a sad thing for her, because she has stories.......

southerngal0724 This 18 year old Maltese, Missy, was my mama's. She passed in November, but lived a great life. She was a sweetheart right up until the end. She got me a little teddy bear dog when she went in the nursing home. I call him Teddi, and he's just adorable, but all dog. He's stubborn, sometimes naughty, but just wags his litlle tag when I scold.

southerngal0724 Muscoda is an obscure little town that's between Madison and LaCrosse in WI. I'm 1 1/2 hours from IL, 3 hours from Minnesota, and 1 1/2 hours from Iowa. It's a really great location if you want to go somewhere else. I've been to Birmingham when I lived in FL and had relatives there. I love the state, but summers are brutal (as FL was, too!)

ckbloom Yeah the pictures are a challenge- and one of the most important aspects here. Lighting is important and arranging the item in an interesting way (you've got that part down!) Some people even get a light box which is specifically for taking clear photographs of items.. I haven't gotten one though, I just take my pics when it's sunny in my bedroom 😜

Lost my father as well and my mother is in her last stage of dementia 😔 Flying up to NJ tomorrow to spend a few days with her at her memory care facility . southerngal0724 After being with my husband through his cancer, and losing him, it made me realize that I HAD to be with my mama, and I don't regret a moment of it. Cannot stand this weather -- we had a light snow on Friday night, then 60 mph winds yesterday, 75 today, 40 tomorrow, and rain/sleet all week. Isn't this Spring?! It was down to an almost normal temp today, but now she's quarantined for 48 hours once the temp is stable. I bought her a new nightie and robe, some puzzles, along with her favorite cookies and 7 up, and I'll have the goodies given to her tomorrow. She'll love that....

This July it will be 1 yr....there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her and wish she was here. Now I understand when people would say to me how lucky that you still have your mom. My mom was 89 when she died. I should be grateful that I had her that long and I am... It's just hard for me. 😪

The owners at Posh have sent us a bit of a challenge going to retail. Hard to compete with "new" clothes, jewelry and such that's priced under $50... Course you get what you pay for.

If that's the case, then Posh needs to enforce. I'm Retail Certified and the first rule is that you MUST use your own photos. I'm going to look up NWT and see about the rules. I just want it to be fair!

I've written to them asking why then are there Sooo many non compliant items in their search engine!! To add salt to injury after a non compliant item has been sold you can find under similar item (at the bottom of the listing) the very non compliant item and where to find it in other closets!!! Standard form response. We are working on it. They must be really understaffed

designerbeb Exactly...isn't it frustrating? I was selling at least one box a week of Instantly Ageless which is a cosmetic but Posh refuse's to accept it. At least for me... others are still selling it. I've heard from other Posher's that they too are anxious because it looks as though Posh mgmt is doing nothing about keeping closets compliant. In fact a group of Posher's reported the same closet for 1 month about not being compliant. She's still operating with her fake designer purses.

designerbeb Thank you for thinking of me! I'm happy to report I was able to sleep!! I have been taking some powerful herbs all along to keep my body healthy and I feel they have kept the wolf away from my door alongside of taking the antibiotics recently prescribed. The area as long as I treat it gingerly is "just there" with a constant pulsating. Annoying but tolerable. I really don't take medications or pain pills but in this case I think it's a good idea.

southerngal0724 @designerbeb I am so happy that you got some 💤 since that is the best healer of all. The antibiotics are definitely necessary to begin eradicating the poisons in your system. Yes, that doctor needs to be kicked to the curb, like yesterday‼ I had a gallbladder that had gangrene in 1997 and my doctor said it was nothing. Needless to say I ended up in the hospital and nearly died from the infection. Never spoke to that person again!! Please take care of yourself, and feel better soon💋

My neighbor is running an errand, and then he's going to take me to the urgent care. I'm so sorry to learn of John's inability to care for you. There's nothing nicer than someone being there to help, especially when you can't ask for it.

designerbeb I can send you some Instantly ageless if you like. It is a miracle worker! Everybody is different, you just have to work with it. Posh still lets other closets sell it.. for some reason not mind. When I inquired they says non compliant! When I point out its even in their search engine and under similar items, they send their standard form letter. Go figure

I cannot believe that he'll be gone from me 9 years this Saturday. My mama will be 95 on November 17th, so I'm throwing a party for her. I cherish every minute that she's still with me. I'll gladly share her with you, because she's got enough love for the both of us😘.

southerngal0724 @carolsilvers Isn't it amazing how some people think so very little of their furbabies?! I've picked up strays that have made the very best companions ever!! I got my dear mama this sweet dog after my daddy passed away after 56 years of marriage. The dog loved my mama unconditionally. Now mama is in a nursing home with dementia and the doggie has gone to heaven. So sad but life.

My sweet mama has severe dementia and doesn't know me anymore, so my furbabies get all my love as I'm completely disabled and can't work.
