lala_lizzy @sunfloweria , I do have a question for you :) it seems like everyone is trying to sell something....do people really buy stuff? Do you make a decent amount per month/year selling your items? I just want to sell my stuff to go shopping for new stuff!!! Haha!

vdsmay @lala_lizzy oh , the question you asked the above posher, about selling stuff to buy stuff. People have different motivations with this app, some actually make a living...and a good one doing just Poshmark, others such as myself tend to do it so I can support my incessant need to shop. I really make a steady amount and I just leave it in my posh account, because I like to buy. It's a win win for me.

poshinistajen @lala_lizzy Yes! I have been on the app for a little over a year and I made my first sale a few weeks after I started. Once you get about 5,000 followers it is easier to sell. I make about $300 a month selling on here. I spent the first several months buying and selling because there is always an awesome deal somewhere!

poshinistajen @lala_lizzy It is addictive but I think of it as paring down what I have and using the proceeds to buy new better quality stuff! There is a Posher in Texas who quit her job as a bookkeeper to do Posh fulltime and makes about $160K a year. They use her as a case study!

poshinistajen @lala_lizzy Yes I think the gal that makes $160K a year is a reseller (she has a relashionship and gets things wholesale and sells at retail.) Keep in mind that when you share, the only people that see your shares are your followers and even then, they have to be on the app at that point in time.. so, focus on getting your followers up. Shoot for 5K, then 10K then 20K and so on... It could take weeks or months to hit these goals..

poshinistajen @lala_lizzy In the meantime, build up your closet listings to have at least 10 things for sale. The more the better. Make sure they are posh compliant. Start prices high and lower by 10% once you have 5 or more likes on the item. You can learn about the "price drop strategy" from @edizarodriguez and her awesome blog Healthy Girl Fashion. She has awesome videos that explain SO MUCH! I have learned a lot from her as well as just reading the help section of Poshmark and knowing how the app works!

poshinistajen @lala_lizzy Set your goals.. to get 10K followers (follow everyone you can find!) Become a suggested user ( after you have 5-10 sales with good feedback we can focus on this!) , Host a party (usuay reseeved for SUs) I will tag you on my party annoucement from July so you can see my goals. It took me a little over a year to achieve those but I helped one of my PFFs do it in like 6 months!

flutter_buys They are buying more than one item, so that they only have to pay one shipping fee. If you want you can try adding a couple of my things into a bundle so you know how it works. You don't have to go all the way to the end though. And just because they add to the bundle doesn't necessarily mean they are going to buy that day. Also I noticed some people just do it to do it. But you can set up your discount price in "my selling tools ". Let me know if you want to try it! 😉💕
