mimicloset12 Hey! I just got the comment about the smell!! All of my stuff is kept in a climate controlled storage facility that is in doors and I don’t smoke so this concerns me that you received the shoes with a Smokey smell. Do you know if it’s the boots or the box? I’m so sorry that it arrived like that! It absolutely shouldn’t have. I’m trying to figure out if it’s from my storage facility or if the box was somehow exposed to smoke on the way to you. Again my absolute sincere apologies. 😔

lizcrane7 @mimicloset12 hi there! It’s distinctly the shoes, I noticed it when i opened the box, I tried the boots on- I absolutely love them. I added them to the shelf in my closet and when I came back a little while later the whole closet closet smelled like it. It’s musty, almost like a campfire. Less like cigarette smoke. I am going to spray them with suede cleaner or protector To get it out. I just double checked me self to see if it was lingering and it is.

mimicloset12 @lizcrane7 That’s really weird. I’m so so sorry. I go into the storage unit with a mask so I can’t smell anything. I’m going to have to go in and see if I can smell something. I know there was a fire close by the facilities not long ago. I wonder if that may have caused the smell. This upsets me, because I keep lots of clothing and stuff in there so it’s preserved and you shouldn’t have gotten boots with a smell. I’m so sorry, genuinely I apologize.
