cookiefiend @gravityl Sadly, I fell for one. They get your email and address - I’m watching everything like a hawk now because I’m paranoid. They didn’t get the money, but a Poshmark was not quick to refund even after I had told them something was wrong. Like you, I am reporting like a - well - fiend! 😆😆😆

soosiez FYI Hi I noticed that you Liked and Hermès scarf called Atlantis. Unfortunately the one I just received from the seller is fake. I also excepted it but just realize After extremely close inspection it is not real. What was pictured was not what I received.

gravityl @soosiez ugh - I’m so sorry that happened! I received a fake a few months ago but could tell by the feel it was off. Weighed it, took photos of the real scarf online and sent comparison pic to posh and they were great about authorizing the return. Maybe reach out to them? I’ve also had friends save me from a bad buy by cautioning me the seller had no other items for sale which is usually a giveaway.

soosiez @gravityl Thank you so much for your feedback! I feel badly I excepted it in my enthusiasm and it was later at night when I returned home. I have about 30 real Hermès scarves. “Cookie” is the best ...she questioned the scarf, I didn’t know about the “solo” seller clue! I am happy it was not you who purchased the other scarf. soosiez You are such a high class sweetheart! I was shocked at how long that authentication took! It showed me they’re very understaffed and have a plethora of fake items to deal with. They also have to be careful with possible stolen goods due to the recent thefts. No worries…as a buyer we can’t wait to enjoy our new purchase! 🥰😀

Expensive items’ authenticity is important, and if it’s already been returned as inauthentic it’s disingenuous of you to try to sell it to another unsuspecting victim. You make a lot of sales but nothing really high end so perhaps it’s just a matter of not knowing the signs of a fake. But to say it’s not been returned is misleading.

gravityl @nena62278 FWIW some of the hallmarks of a real Hermes scarf are dimensions, weight, caretag placement, artist signature and copyright. From what the buyer who returned this tells me the caretag is in the wrong place, forget about that it doesn’t match the scarf title.

gravityl @ssanseverino LOL I fell for that scam of eating more vegetables and lean protein and getting off the sofa. I was a WW coach for a few years - it’s a great program but it IS work and if you let up for a second progress can be lost. Le sigh - all sorts of things have happened the past 2 years that have broken my concentration and I’m in the process of re-losing 25 pounds (18 to go!).

ssanseverino @gravityl vegetables and lean meat…sounds so easy, but it’s not. I lost about 10lbs and I’m stuck there. But, I can’t say that I’m trying my best either. Good luck!

gravityl @ssanseverino congratulations on the plateau! That only happens when you’ve lost a good amount of weight! Of the scale hasn’t budged in 3 weeks, shake it up - eat dinner for breakfast, eat something you haven’t eaten in awhile (yes, that includes pizza!), up your veggies, cut your carbs… something that will shock your body. And don’t forget that bodies are weird / you can do everything right and sometimes your body will be, like, meh, not today.
