@red_d1 You can send offers or if the seller sees you like something they can send you a private offer. I do public markdown when my price is too low to offer shipping discount or when Poshmark does their closet clear out. If the offer is too low the seller usually or should counteroffer with the potential buyer. Poshmark does take 20% so just something to keep in mind. A seller should never publicly shame another potential buyer but rather just counteroffer.

@bjcich I see. I did not know that poshmark took 20%. But it's not an incredibly large amount considering you posher gets 80%. I counteroffer in a strange way though. Instead of starting at a high amount I start at a low amount and go up. It's worked really well for me because then I can actually budget everything else. And it's the best way I can barter. There's only been one person that has seriously not liked it so far. But what can I do? 🤗
