@mcachel Hi, my suggestion will be to look at items at the official website (please take note that the items have change a bit during the years), look at the engravings, it should look clean and precise, the identification marks (AG 925 on the clasp and the heart), the alignment of the words should be good, Tiffany always solderen all its items so no open chain will be visible, and many more....

@jonescrew2 I wouldn't buy that one, look at the chain and compare it to the one I sold (in my closet) ! Mine is an older version of the newest one Tiffany sells. For that piece you must know this (1-each bead is 10mm, 2-there are only 2 sizes 7.5in and 8.5in, 3-for the 7.5 in there are 17 beads and for the 8.5in there are 19 beads), 4-there must be a circle tag: one of it says (C) Tiffany&Co and the other one 925 (old version) or AG 925 (newer version), 5- the clasp must have a 925!

@jonescrew2 the pair of earrings you bought do not have original Tiffany backs! And to confirm authenticity the posts (each of them) must have T&CO 925 engraved.

By the way please do not buy the bracelet i tagged you in cause even though I know it is authentic i was checking her closet and I saw several suspicious activities

I bought a ring when I worked there and it is in my closet for sale. Someone on here sells And buys Tiffany jewelry and said that fakes are not allowed on Poshmark and that they make sure they’re authentic! That is so NOT true! Poshmark has no idea. My guess is she’s selling fakes that she believes is real .

@lorenaec I brought my ring that I purchased at the ny store in the 80’s when I worked there to the New Orleans store to see if they could authenticate it. The manager said no he could not. LOL! Even he couldn’t tell. I think only the jewelry makers at the NY store are capable!

@kathy1258 yes, it has happened to me too, with tiffany and David yurman, it seems that people currently working there have no clue of what older pieces look like, in order to authenticate a piece you need to send it off for repairs 😪
