Hi again! I asked you about an item being reserved about a week ago and what it means.. you gave me guidance:) it was one of my listings (NYDJ) pants. I need more help!! The lady same one that didn't know how to check out has now opened a case on these pants!! Have you ever had this happen? I'm really upset about this. I wrote posh and they TOLD me to have her contact them and this is what ended up happening. Most of this is written in the thread on the listing.

@jaimeandjerry I have had items where the buyer opened a case. PM reviews the "claims" from the buyer and the seller always has a link where they can add their comments or additional photos etc that may help decide the dispute. Depends on what the issue is of course.

@jaimeandjerry If they feel the buyer has a case they will send a label to the buyer to send it back to you, if after reviewing they do not feel the buyer has a case they will send a letter letting the buyer know and your funds will be released. PM has 3 business days to review the case. It is very upsetting as a seller, I always feel just horrible that someone isn't happy. Does she feel there is something wrong with the item?

@lbarvais She said that they don't fit her, she said they are too small. This in my opinion is not a misrepresentation case. I have contacted her several times and she has not responded. I sold these because they are too big for me and I wear a 4/6 they are an 8 so the idea that they are way too small is a little frustrating. She is stating they wouldn't even fit a 6. This is my first bad experience with a buyer. I have all 5 stars.

@jaimeandjerry So PM is pretty clear about sizing, as long as you haven't misrepresented a size and it doesn't sound like that is the case then I doubt it will be an issue for you. If she opened a case then yes PM has 3 business days to review the information before they decide. It is very upsetting, but it sounds like this is just a case where you couldn't have changed anything and some people are just not happy no matter what you do.

@jaimeandjerry I also "live and learn' I know put all measurements like bust, waist, inseam, length in any new listings. This makes it one less step for the buyer, they don't have to ask for them and protects both the seller and the buyer because they have all the information:)

@lbarvais Last question I promise!! Have you ever sent something to a P.o box? I sent out a pair of rather expensive sunglasses to one. It won't say delivered instead it just reads that it is available for pickup. And Poshmark continues to have it listed as "shipped" instead of "delivered". How do I receive the funds for this? If it stays in shipped status? I've asked posh, but I just get a generic answer back that it takes 4 days from delivery.

@jaimeandjerry Ok so how this works is PM gives them approx a day to "pickup" the available item. After a full day it will generally switch to delivered and that is when their "3" days to accept starts. I think PM assumes if PO boxes once buyer is notified that they can pickup their item they have a day to do so but since USPS knows it was put in their box they get a day to do so then three days to inspect/accept the item:) Hope that helps!

@bsmith3000 Hi:) so they don't have a "fav" closet button- wish they did however you can like the "Meet the Posher" listing or one of the listings so it's shows up in your Likes- that way you can always navigate back to the closet 😊😊

@lbarvais Hi Lori :) it's Jaime again! my PO BOX shipment is still showing shipped and it's been in this status for awhile. It will NOT change I've written pm about it several times and also hit the release funds button on the listing and it just says I have to wait 72 hours after it says delivered. At this point I really am skeptical that it's going to say delivered and pm hasn't responded to me at all. ANY help as to what I can do at this point would be great.

@jaimeandjerry I wouldn't worry about you not getting your money though, it just may take a few days if the person doesn't accept right away. If you have an email into PM then you just have to wait for them to respond and they have 3 business days to respond to all correspondence. Wish I could tell you more.

@lionman1892 So a couple of things you can look at, first obvious thing is the prices you have set. Do a quick search on PM and see if similar items are similarly priced. Second, it truly sometimes is simply timing. I know I rarely buy if I don't have credit to do the purchase, other people like an item to come back to it when they get paid.

@lionman1892 That might help, if an item I have doesn't sell I will take new pix in a different way. The item is the same, I didn't remove the listing I just gave it a different look sometimes that will generate more traffic. So even if the original pix were great new ones might make it stand out again. :)

If not, don't worry about it PM reviews all cases and I have yet to have a case that wasn't fairly reviewed. It is upsetting to the seller no doubt, you feel like you let the buyer down in some way ... I wouldn't worry about it - I always view these situations as LESSONS LEARNED lol

I try to look over clothes again while I am shipping. It DOES make me feel like a failure. Lol. Lessons learned.

@nymommy42 OH gosh .. you are NOT a failure. The worst from this end is that PM will provider her with a label to send back to you and she will get her $ back. You can through that listing contact her if you want, and apologize that she was unhappy but that is a personal preference for most Sellers. Some do it, others don't. Just depends on how comfortable you are with doing that. :)

When I try to manually download the label from site, it says “error” still processing label and to check back in a few minutes. That was last night and I’m still getting that message. Putting things on sale is an art lol- so I try to take advantage of CCO, always drop at least 10% below the lowest you’ve ever marked so anyone who has liked it will be notified, I rarely drop the price unless an item has at least 15+ likes ... another strategy is guessing pay days ... people will buy their likes when they have a PM credit and/or it coincides with a pay date ... which is tricky since some get paid weekly, bi-weekly, monthly etc

@yourbestfit the best advice is make sure that your item(s) you want to sell most have a high amount of exposure - you sharing but also getting shared by your PFF’s. Leaving things at the top so they are more likely to be shared more. When those items have a lot of likes - drop the price at least 10% below the historical low price you’ve had and cross your fingers 😊 also bundle discounts help people decide if it’s worth it to add more items from your closet ... hope that helps!!

I also invited her to reach out if she had any further questions. In return she lowered my rating to one star and asked for her money back. What is your best advice on how to handle. @yourbestfit oh gosh- you know it’s always a difficult situation when the buyer isn’t happy for some reason. Even despite our best efforts sometimes they aren’t going to be happy. If the dress is marked small then PM won’t have a reason to have her return the item and get her $ back. Did she ever ask for measurements ? It’s kind of a losing battle to try to engage someone who after a reasonable explanation lowers her rating even further so not sure if reach back out to the buyer.

@yourbestfit If she’s opened a case it’s in PM hands to decide how they are going to proceed but PM is pretty clear when it comes to sizing ... no returns so it’s best to know your size .. you could in the future add measurements of your clothing bust, waist, length, inseam etc- truly it’s the buyers job to know that about themselves and ask if there’s ever a question about sizing.
