I’m sorry but the Louis Vuitton Ellipse Backpack you purchased is not authentic. The heat stamp font is off, the thread is too yellow and the stitching is not clean & consistent. If you don’t want to take my word for it please have it authenticated before you accept it. You can use Meme’s Treasures. It’s $15 & you can send them the pictures from the listing.

Good morning thank you for this information. I am new to Poshmark and cannot believe that I was informed the bag was authentic however the listing does not state it was authentic but I did ask the seller and she clearly said yes it was authentic. I also see Poshmark only authenticates items over $500 which is unfortunate in my case.

@oliverlc You’re welcome. Unfortunately there are quite a bit of dishonest sellers on PM like this one. The good news is that you are protected because the item does not match the description. She states it’s authentic & it’s not. Go to the Frequently Asked Questions & see “How can I trust buying on Poshmark”. There you will find the instructions on what to do when you receive it.

I saw your communication this morning with her & I saw she provided her phone number. Please make sure that you are not doing anything outside of PM with her. Have her post a picture of the date code which is under the D ring that is on the bottom of the heat stamp. Regardless if it is “vintage” or not it should be there & she doesn’t have a picture of it.

That will help secure your refund. All of her LV bags are fake & she definitely knows what she is doing. Her intent is to scam. I’m very sorry that this happen to you. There’s a lot of great items on PM, however, you just have to be careful when it comes to lux designer items under $500.

Actually she is not going to be able to add more pictures because the item is sold. She will have to make a new listing and she can list it as an item not for sale. If she doesn’t, don’t worry you’ve got it documented that you’ve asked and there is no doubt that the bag is fake.

She said she could send me more pics and I requested her send me all pics through PM' official site.
