@lakedwellerhb thanks so much for a beautiful note. From what I hear there are 5 stages. I have had 1 lung surgery- Chemo- which I have stopped. I believe in quality of life.i did not have any. Good news is last 4 scans are stable. Sending positive vibes for you both. Live- love -laugh 🙏💕🙏

@willscuddlebug hi there ! Yes, since January 2019 & had an operation, followed by Chemotherapy ( I gave that back to them) it made me deathly sick, then the Cancer came back in 2 places. I just had radiation & I have been coughing for 2 months. I have 2 appointments tomorrow & hoping to get answers. In the meantime ( living life ) 💕💕💕

@willscuddlebug Thank you so much for your lovely messages. It is so nice of you. I have been in severe pain on my entire left side. It is constant & at times almost like a Charlie horse inside. I am waiting on the team at the Mayo to get back with me. I am scheduled to go back in July - providing the team hasn’t made changes. I almost posted an update today. Then did a few lightweight things at the house. I hope you have a wonderful evening & again, attitude of gratitude 💕

@willscuddlebug copied & pasted this response. Can you tell patient that the team doesn’t think the pain has to do with cancer so no additional imaging is needed right now. They think it is due to an intercostal nerve under the rib that is irritated or an inflamed chest wall muscle. We need to discuss with her pain management doctor whether additional therapies are an option.
The last pain Dr refused to listen to me & my husband. So, he was fired! Have a great day 🌺

Seems these Drs have failed you. 😞 Like I used to say to my patients, please always advocate for yourself! You deserve Drs who will listen & hear you, as you know your body better than anyone else. My work days have had to change since my diagnosis & treatments. So if I don’t answer you tag me till I do! Some days I am not on as I am wiped out & I tend to be a perfectionist when it comes to most things.
