gretchenkh Lori, Poshmark headquarters only received the chair! No doll or papers. I obviously couldn’t accept the order, so they canceled it. I still want the doll, but won’t pay $750 for a chair.

kandl_resale @gkleinman Hi! You purchased the Cabbage Patch Doll and rocking chair from me. I just received an email from Poshmark saying there is an item missing; there is not. There are two boxes in the shipment and I believe they did not receive the second box yet. I shipped everything in the listing and Poshmark is sorely mistaken. Please do not believe them, as they have not done their job correctly by waiting for the second package; both packages are marked either “1 of 2” or “2 of 2”.

gretchenkh @kandl_resale I believe you—but I know that if I had accepted the chair only, I would be without recourse if they didn’t send me the other box. They said in their message that I wouldn’t be able to get a refund if I accepted the chair only. Is there any way to just send the doll and papers to me without them? No need to send the chair, as I planned to stand her up with a stand.

gretchenkh @kandl_resale It’s not funny, but you have to laugh a little at the absurdity of the message they sent me, which was something like “good news! We’ve confirmed that the item is authentic, but there are missing items—the doll and papers. Do you want to accept the item (the chair)?” Ummmm...thank you for authenticating that it is in fact a tiny wicker chair!!! So dumb.

I received an email from Poshmark, and this is a direct quote from the email copied and pasted here: “We were notified by the seller that they had sent the doll in a separate package from the rocking chair after the order was cancelled.” They said if I was still interested in purchasing, then I needed to respond accordingly to the email, which I did. I already have her standing up in my Dr. Seuss room (I’m a collector of first edition/first print Seuss books—and a collector so many other things). She looks perfect!
