laalexander245 @bevj48 Thank you, Beverly. I ordered a dress form to make my clothes look better. While I am waiting for it to come in, I will go ahead and start my closet with my shoes and purses. Anything in particular I need to know before I start taking pics and uploading? As well as joining the Posh family?

bevj48 @laalexander245 Hello Lori. Nice hearing from you. Using a dress form is always helpful for clothes but until then, clothes can be displayed by nicely displaying them on a bed or chest that can allow skirt to flow. Use good lighting and accessories to give customer ideas what to wear it with. With purses and shoes you can do same thing. Use props and flowers for appeal. Whenever you get comments from someone just answer and start building relationships. Keep in touch.

laalexander245 @bevj48 Hi! I do have a question that I am hoping you can answer for me. I got an offer on my first item and the person wants to send me a check directly, which means I would have to give him personal info. Doesn’t sound legit, is it? Thanks!

bevj48 @laalexander245 Do not accept a check. Only go through Poshmark system. I made the mistake of doing this with 3 people in the beginning and found I had 3 checks that were fake. Fortunately I did not send product until checks cleared which never happened. Poshmark is only method to use. Poshmàrk will release funds once product accepted or after 3 days if buyer does not respond. Hope this helps

bevj48 @laalexander245 I did not do anything at the time but did go to a bank who confirmed to me that they were fake. I never destroyed them but put them in my fire safe. I could report to Poshmark. But I think they just say follow the system. It works smoothly and the seller is protected. If you do report it please let me know what they say. The checks I received were made out for much more than products cost. They wanted me to cash bad checks then send them the extra money. 💞💞
