Sorry, wanted to do research with LV - costings to put it in for new piping and cleaning etc. It looks lovely, but it’s an ‘old’ (please don’t misunderstand when I say that) bag as such. Wanted to figure those costings in first. I have quite a few LV bags myself and know how they can wear, and how that can make the bag look.

lauragneve @lorrphillips I do understand!! Yes it is older but there isn’t any damage to the piping at all and inside is perfect..not a spot..I had it cleaned and conditioned about a year and a half ago..keep my bags in dustbags and do my best to take care of them...but it is a big purchase so I def understand!! lorrphillips Cleaning and conditioning - do you do that yourself, or did you put it into a LV store? I think I'd go there and have it done - for longevity purposes. I'll ask at my LV store and put in another offer soon. It's a big purchase for a 2008 bag.

lorrphillips I have had TWO bad experiences on Posh Mark. One relating to a seller advertising a LV handbag in PERFECT condition, with no watermarks or stains. Posh Mark, during the verification process contacted me [with pictures] telling me the buyer's posting wasn't CORRECT. That was Posh Mark, not me - as I have never seen the bag. Posh Mark were correct in their assessment - the seller LIED.

lorrphillips The other experience was a seller that touted a Tory Burch bag as 100% authentic. Yet, Tory Burch staff members assessed my purchased and declined to agree with the sellers assessment. The seller was reluctant to provide online RECEIPT with her address on it, confirming the authenticity of the bag that Tory Burch themselves questioned. I have a bag I paid more than $300 for without legitimate authenticity. I would NEVER attempt to re-sell it for that reason.

lorrphillips Everything bag on my closet has a paper-chain from the LEGITIMATE source. None of my bags are bought from other online sources - they are mine, bought from the producer themselves, or Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus etc, etc. I urge everyone to check authenticity, factual evidence and ensure their sellers are accurate, their closet is authentic, and do NOT part with your $$$ unless you are certain. A bargain is very RARELY a bargain.

lorrphillips I am a normal person. I do not have a boutique and selling on Posh Mark is NOT by job, and source of income. For me, this is an up-market version of Craigs List - safer and more secure. Everything in my closet is mine - never sourced from anywhere else, and not being sold on for profit as income. In fact, I am known to include FREE items in my sales - just because. I will provide ANY information a buyer wants. ANY.

lorrphillips I've noticed many sellers don't like being question because this IS their source of income, or they are attempting to make a 'quick buck' at other peoples expense. You learn a LOT on this forum. You learn a LOT about other people - some nice, some not so nice. Just be wary of online sellers - trust your judgement and fore-sight.

lorrphillips I will always provide ALL details of the items I sell, including online or store bought receipts - times, dates, costings, name, address [as much as possible, security-wise]. I have absolutely ZERO to hide and believe in 100% transparency.
