urbanuptowngirl @lrlanglois But HE did, lol!!!! My Jazz did that to me about 8 years ago. Thank goodness I had him chipped and a nice lady took him to the vet and they called me. He jumped my fence and off he went. I even called a pet detective with a cat sniffing dog I was so frantic. The day she was coming is the day I got the call. He's 17 now ❤️

I got Cyrus from the shelter last December. They said he was about 2 at the time. Can you believe that he was abandoned! When I got him, he was shaved because of all the mats.

Well 10 seconds after this shot, he broke the leash 🙀 and I spent 15 minutes trying to catch him again. 😁👎🏻🙁 My bad. He had fun, 😺 but I certainly didn't. Will not try that again!

hibiscusshop @urbanuptowngirl I have a new deck under construction that is about 1 foot off the ground. While he was taunting me 😼😼😼from under there, I attempted to block the sides with building materials. FAIL because as you well know, cats can squeeze through any opening. I bruised and scraped the inside of my upper arm moving a heavy piece of plywood. My arm had little pieces of wood stuck in it. 🤕 I didn't notice until Cyrus was safe inside! He may be sneaky and sassy, but he's my baby. 💕

hibiscusshop @urbanuptowngirl Cyrus is getting his winter fur. As hard as I try, I can't seem to keep him mat free! A few weekends ago, I was being especially focused on the task. On Saturday I tried to brush and detangle several times. On Sunday he gifted me with 💩in the tub not once but twice! 😝 Needless to say I have not been doing much grooming. He is going to get a lion cut.

It is such a sweet thing to cuddle up in bed with an adoring cat! My kitty does the same thing when it is cold, thereby keeping me warm, too! Cats are definitely the Best!

hibiscusshop @vangoing when I brought him home from the shelter, he wouldn't even let me hold him! He would duck his head when I tried to pet him - obviously he had been abused. I brought him to groomer a few times for his nails and they told me it was a breeze - hmmmm. I figured I could do it too. I started by doing one nail at a time, moved to one paw, and now I can do both with no issues - just a sad meow!

vangoing Just wanted to thank you again for the great back-packs! As you might have heard Southern California has just had two big Quakes (yesterday and today, July 5th). honeychowchow I just read a few of the comments. It is a blessing to save an animal and get so much love and joy from them. I miss my Rocky whom I had gotten from a shelter. A friend visited and said how old is your dog! He was a big boy and a blessing all around. I hope you and Cyrus have lots and time and love together!

hibiscusshop @honeychowchow Thank you for your nice note! Cyrus has been with me for 3 years next month. HE is my best buddy and brings me much joy and happiness! He is my third shelter cat. Initially I couldn’t even hold him - it was obvious he had been abused. ☹️ but now I can clip his nails and comb out his fur even when it gets matted 😊

When I was looking to buy I was looking for a Persian. Could find anyone selling so I thought I would go check the rescue one but these two girls pulled my heart strings ❤️

hibiscusshop @tonyad88 Rescues are the best! I wanted another Himalayan, but I couldn’t get past Cyrus’s adorable face on Petfinder.com. 24 people wanted him, but they chose me. He had been abused and was a handful at first, but now he a total joy. He is purring on my lap as I write this.

k_wix I think I read most of your comments about your cat! We rescued our ragamuffin kitty about 6 months ago. He loves being out in our backyard with us (never alone!) and also comes when I shake his dry food. I love watching him run to the house, his legs are so short😂 Your cat is beautiful! I hope you’ve enjoyed Poshmark and have been able to make many sales❤️
