I used to own a vintage consignment shop before going digital and what I noticed time and time again was this: it’s the pieces with stories that captivate. People recognize quality. Never pooled from discount chains or overstock bales, which would defeat the purpose of environmentalism. Everything here comes from the private closets of 600+ consignors I’ve met through the years, from overstocked thrift stores, and from estate sales that read like storybooks.
