hellolovely11 @kookc I really haven't thought about goals ... I just wanted to sale things in my closet that were sitting. Then I started listing items and BAM just like that I was hooked.. I would like to really stay with shoes more then clothes.. I love my shoes!!! I would like to have consistent sales with a higher end product. I was thinking about going to POSHFEST but I really don't know anyone. What were your goals when you started here?

51twenty You're much further ahead than I was. When I started I signed up and did not list anything then I listed about 10/12 items and they sold. I thought "Wow" things progressed from there. I decided I want to sell resale and retail. Some consign and design as well.

51twenty Hi Peggy! Yes, what I mean by being further than I am is that you actually have a goal in mind. A vision. You know what you want to sell as you enter the rink. Yes, I am attending Poshfest again this year. I found it extremely helpful. Not only in meeting the man behind the company but, what Poshmark's vision was...their future plans. Meeting Poshers face to face and networking was Huge also.

51twenty So, initially I did start will resale. I listed a few items I had in my closet. They sold! Keep in mind at that time there were less than 1/2 million closets with Poshmark. A few shares and my things went rather quickly (in my mind). At this point very slowly I would add items and they would sell. I was not really vested in what I was doing at all.

51twenty Unbeknownst to me, that was about to change. I believe it was a bright pair of shoes I listed and that brought a frenzy of traffic to my closet and things started flying off of the shelf. | | It was Poshfest that really had me thinking about retail. I had already dabbled in it as a filler because my closet wasn't robust enough for me. I also, wanted variety, something for everyone. That went VERY well. Over 1 million closets. Poshfest 2016

51twenty Poshmark has even made it easy for you to buy retail. They introduced retail there along with the designers. You have to be active in the community, engage potentials, value ad and work at building your brand. Blog.poshmark.com Poshmarks blog has so many helpful tools on selling as well as @official_forum. It's important to read those. Re-read /Re-visit when necessary.

51twenty Okay. Thank you for your patience. Let's get moving! So, it's important that at least 3 times a day you share your own closet. Also, do you see the feed tab at the bottom? Tap on that and share those items of your followers. Likely, they will return the gesture and share back and even follow you. Followers: let's try to increase those. The more followers you have the better. Each time you share an item it will reach that potential amount of people if they're all viewing there feed at that time.

51twenty Yes. That just means if you have 2 $10 items they may want both for $18. So, you can reduce the one or both item(s) to the agreed amount with the buyer.

51twenty No problem! Some have trouble or they're at work and they'd like you to make the bundle. So, you can take a screenshot of all the items..sometimes a lot worth (50) and create a new listing just for her. For the agreed price. Briefly describing what the contents are.

51twenty It goes back to goals and the purpose of you selling. Some pay monthly storage fees to multiple units to house clothes so, for them it's a matter of bundling at a very very low cost and two free. Which they may anchor long term clients/ buyers too. It's presentation. Packaging. Condition. Pricing. Everyone here has a story. It's A M A Z I N G!! You're doing great!😄

51twenty I usually follow that up by saying "okay" I'd like to try to work within your budget. Is this for a vacation or special occasion. **Shows genuine interest and gives you a chance to perhaps not walk away with nothing. You can further feel out if there's true interest. ^Future follow up if you have a sale

51twenty When you share to the party there are several showrooms there. It may fall into one of those categories that you have not checked and with such high volume at night over 200K you may not..but it's counted. Yes
