Hi! I'm Lucy Shea, an Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Warrior born & raised in PDX. I love fashion, and some of my favorite brands include Melinda Maria, Sam Edelman, Wildfox, and Free People, to name a few! While I am chronically ill, Poshmark has helped me stay afloat during my flares & this pandemic. I can’t wait to become a better Posher, get to know everyone, and make new customers & friends. Tips I learned: take pics during the sunny time of the day with plenty of indirect sunlight in room. Wreath hook on door with item hung on hanger. Laying item on a sheet, floor etc. Iron/steam wrinkled items!! Wrap sold items in tissue paper, send thank you note. tac66 @lucyshea hi Lucy, I noticed on your site you called yourself the chronically ill Zebra. I’m not trying to be nosy I just wanted a yes or no. I’m diagnosed with a very rare progressive cellular metabolic muscle disease. The doctors call me the “Zebra” because my disease is very complicated and there is no treatment or cure. lucyshea @tac66 Hi Traci! I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Type III (Hypermobile,) meaning my body doesn’t make enough collagen so everything will subluxate/dislocate often. There are tons of symptoms, including joint/muscle/nerve pain. Like your illness, there’s no cure, only treatments to help w/pain & other symptoms. tac66 @lucyshea yes, I have heard of that. But it’s ironic because only a Zebra would pick up that saying that “you are a Zebra”. I hesitated to ask you because I didn’t want to offend you. I wish you well and I will definitely check out your blog. my disease is called mitochondrial myopathy and I also have antiphospholipid anti-body syndrome. The first disease I have three different forms of it & all are extremely rare. We’ll Talk again, be well.💕Traci @tac66
