I opened a “lost mail” case on it yesterday, because there’s been some funny business with the local mail service. Strangely, the latest “update” says case closed...but nothing changed. USPS is supposed to call me at 5pm. I’ll let you know what happens. :/

luckyprizelucy @summer_threads Oh my, no need to apologize. I know you did everything right on your end. Its been an ongoing issue with local mail here. Sometimes they lie & say “no access” (we have 24/7 access); other times there’s a week incommunicado, after the “out for delivery” scan; other times it arrives days/ a week after they scan it “delivered”. The GOOD news is none have been permanently lost. I’m sure yours will turn up eventually. I’ll let you know when I get the latest update.

Usually once I file the complaint, USPS magically locates&delivers the funky limbo packages-for the next week they might even properly deliver mail in our individual boxes (instead of throwing the entire apartment buildings mail in a big pile on the floor for us to sift through). I understood when the city was raked with COVID...Lately? I don’t know what to think. So sorry that USPS is holding up the sale. Thanks for bearing with all this <3

luckyprizelucy @summer_threads UPDATE: USPS never called. I phoned them to follow up. All I got was a recording. It said their customer service phone hours end at 5pm. Why they scheduled me for 5pm, I’ll never know. How they decided my case was resolved at 10:45pm last night, without locating or scanning the package whereabouts? My case was only open a few hours before they shut it with no new info. Idk. I’ll try again tomorrow morning. Sorry they’re making it so complicated. I’ll keep you posted.

luckyprizelucy @summer_threads Aw, thanks. I spoke with USPS again this morning. The person say the scans are “automated” and don’t actually mean “out for delivery” etc. She said it just means the local PO received it. Weird because there is one scan for local office received, prior to separate from the last “out for delivery” , but whatever. She said all the missing mail from that day is probably still sitting on a pallet & will eventually be delivered. That’s all I know.

luckyprizelucy @summer_threads UPDATE: Despite the “Delivered” scan, the package hasn’t been delivered. It’s happened before that I get a “Delivered” scan, and the fine print is that it may be scanned in advance of delivery. Usually things arrive in a day or two after the so called “delivered scan”. I must say USPS is increasingly rude, no matter how polite I am. I sent my recent complaint to OIG, as USPS seems uninterested in problem solving.

I believe that you can open a case with Poshmark directly, if you didn't already (I've experienced USPS issues one other time and Poshmark emailed me when the buyer opened a case saying that the item wasn't delivered), and they'll go ahead and pressure USPS for you so you don't need to deal with it. <3
