plpwalters Hi, I need some information. Hopefully you can help. I purchased your Moncler vest about a year ago. I just resold it. The buyer is trying to return it saying it's not authentic. Can you tell me where you purchased it? I'm just trying to get a bit more info to work with. Thank you

lu2closet @plpwalters Hello there. I got some info from my sister. She bought the vest on eBay, pre-owned, many many years ago, earlier than 2008. She Her eBay purchase history is no longer available. There was no website available to check Moncler authenticity at that time. The monclerexpert.com site looks like it did not start until 2016 and Monclerworld.ch in 2014.

lu2closet @plpwalters Moncler did not use anti-counterfeiting tags until after 2008 (certilogo) or in 2013 (QR code). The website states there was a limited Moncler collection made in Italy before year 2000, but it did specify the model or style.

lu2closet @plpwalters I am not implying the vest is part of that collection and I have no way to know. Some vest features matched to authentic Moncler features such as the Lampo zipper and zipper pulls with painted logo, plastic ladder zip pattern, faded cartoon label, alignment of letters, etc. She sold the vest only because it no longer fits her.

lu2closet @plpwalters My listing description did not include a disclaimer on authenticity and it was not at all my intention to mislead. My photos tried to show as much features for the buyer to research, ask questions or request more photographs to check authenticity to inspect upon receipt of product and file a claim immediately if there was a problem.

lu2closet @plpwalters Poshmark’s policy is to file a claim within 3 days and if no claim was filed, the payment is released to a seller and sale is final (between our own transaction itself). Our transaction was completed over a year ago (April 8, 2019). Hope this helps. Thank you.

plpwalters @lu2closet Hi. Thank you for all the information. I was in no way implying anything against you. I didn't want you to think that. I was just looking for more information. I only sold it because I have gained weight myself. There is another seller on here with the exact same vest with tags. She says it came from the Moncler Website. I think I just ended up with a very difficult buyer. She only had 1 feedback. I listed the same way you did and put up multiple pictures. Thank you so much!
