Ok! The top is in perfect condition but I would say it’s more of a dark charcoal color than pure black. The tag says black/noir, but not black in my humble opinion. Let me know what you think!

@luxenyc no worries, I just read you are asthmatic, this is vintage some have been stored 20-30 more years so all will need washing because they do have that older Odor of fabric that sits for years, the same as an old Taylor’s shop or fabric shoppe, if you are sensitive I just want to make sure u know ahead, (I did not wash them because I don’t know if all are machine washable fabrics)

@luxenyc no cats no pets in my house at all. This was stored in a bin for many years, it belonged to a seamstress she was elderly and did not smoke, it’s new unused condition but anything stored for 20-40 years will have that vintage odor, and need washing or some dry cleaning depending on fabric,

@luxenyc only one that I think has an older Odor is the strawberries curtain, I can meet you in the middle if you like to purchase it as a bundle I can do a few options, redo it without that curtain, and put free shipping to balance out some cleaning cost. (It will still have that large free piece) I usually wash the vintage fabric right before I use it on a project.

(That one piece has more of an older odor than the fabric it was from someone else in the family)

Again I truly appreciate your honesty and grateful for your time. Totally understand if you can’t. It sucks cause I spent my time to pick them as well.

The order was $155 plus tax shipping, I put a listing for you only $125 for 13 pieces. $30 off to help for cleaning yourself, as all the buyers were told live this was stored 30-40 years. Which was said and known any item needs cleaning after storage that long.

@luxenyc I gave multiple options when your payment failed. Buyers are responsible to update payment info and bids are binding contracts. I offered to wash as is items, (as a courtesy) and send with $15 discount shipping etc, because I read your sensitive to odor in your reviews. There was full disclosure. They have been stored many years. I sold them today at less than half price they were priced 75%off. Posh takes 20% and shipping weight upcharge fees.

As stated in the live and written on the listing, all of these points were discussed at length and written, asking for half off is unreasonable, I’m willing to work with you but 50% off of a 75% discount, that’s unfair balance. They are excellent quality and no cat or smoke odor just vintage.

Because bids are legal binding contracts. I had a feeling you were playing with bids today, when you started asking for free items, it was a bit unfair to others that bid and lost. Take care.
