lynellmiley @lisayounger I've received an email from someone that I can't locate on posh. They sent me a message on the page but now it is gone. In my email from her it is a different name in the address and she is requesting my address to send a check plus $50 to hold the item. She said that I would wait for the check to clear before pickup? She goes by Sarah Carey. Email address is a Tracie cellahan. Is this legit?

lisayounger @lynellmiley no this is too risky. Keep all your transactions within the Poshmark app. PM collects the money for you so that is probably a scam. There is a similar one on EBay too. The comment might have vanished because someone flagged it or PM identified it. There is really no need to communicate or handle payments outside the PM platform. Your instincts were spot on. Have a great week selling!
