oceanbeaches @lynnnu Poshmark is really social, so sharing is a big part of what makes it different from the other platforms! Basically every time you share your own listings for sale, they go into the feeds of all of your followers. It also boosts them in the search, so they appear closer to the top if someone is searching for something you’re selling.

oceanbeaches @lynnnu Sharing other people’s listings is a nice thing to do too, since you’re boosting their items visibility by sharing them with your followers (who might be different than their followers) 🙂 Sharing other peoples items is a good way to get them to share yours, and sometimes when they’re in your closet to share, they might see something they want to buy!

oceanbeaches @lynnnu It’s unfortunately a scammer! They want you to send them an item not through the platform, and you’ll never get paid- or they’ll send you more than you asked for and ask for the remainder back- then your account will get overdrafted for all of it when it doesn’t clear in a few weeks.

oceanbeaches @lynnnu Don’t email them back, just click on the little flag by their comment and report is as spam so it gets removed. There are bots that make those kinds of comments on items listed by new profiles, but it will stop once they see that you’re not going to fall for it 🙂
