wellthread I’ve tried to help people educate themselves before falling prey to dishonest people selling counterfeit goods and it’s just pointless. Many don’t know the difference between fake and authentic and some just don’t care to know. It’s unfortunate, but it’s big business. At least we tried.

safarimg @wellthread hat girl end up not buying the shoes that the lady had listed. They were so faking looking it’s not even funny. I tagged her in another fake pair and then a couple of real pairs and she said ‘wow I can see the difference! Thank you for saying something!’ So that was nice! I just hate seeing the fake birks come up for sale they usually paid for them online and then realized they are fakes and try to con somebody else into buying them so it’s off their plate

wellthread @safarimg It gets under my skin too. Most of the sellers know they’re peddling fakes and get so defensive when anyone raises an eyebrow. So glad you helped her to see the difference. It seems it should be so obvious but I guess if it was there wouldn’t be so many fakes being sold.

safarimg @wellthread exactly there’s sooo many fakes on here it’s ridiculous! One girl knew she purchased a fake and announced she was selling a replica and purchased it not knowing better. But exactly these sellers get so defensive and it’s like yeah so what you have a box and tag so do good fakes 😂🤷🏻‍♀️
