mkqd7 @aperitif it IS a Picasso! Excellent eye. And yes, is a portrait of his love, Franćoise Gillot, painter and mother of Paloma and Claude. I love the drawing and I feel like it kind of resembles me 😉

aperitif Wow! How cool is that? If you look like Francoise Gilot you are VERY beautiful! I actually saw her in NYC years ago at a party given by a French art-collector whose son I dated in college. I believe she still lives in NY -- you should send her a photo of YOU!!! ;o) Bravo.

mkqd7 @aperitif -oh, I guess i mean more like that drawing resembles me. Or I see myself on that drawing. My painter friend insists I look more like a Modigliani but I see myself more in Picasso’s versions of Françoise. Françoise is so beautiful and talented, I cannot imagine seeing her in person! And de Kooning?! You have lived quite a life! Sounds like you could write a book 😉😁

aperitif UR too cute. YOU should send a photo of YOU to Francoise G -- as she is 97 (looked it up) and still paints. Yes --I've had an adventurous lucky life BUT I do NOT look like Francoise Gilot so YOU are the lucky one!! ;o) I read her book showing how mean Picasso could be to women. Though he said a useful thing: "Women are either goddesses or doormats!" One must live by those words! ;o) Smiles to you
