bagvocate Hi Maggie! I've been admiring the Prada pink/purple clutch wallet. Since the purchase is final, I wanted to know if you think the color disbursement is more even, or if it has more concentrated areas in spots. For example, the 2 Kooba's you are selling, and the other Prada beige/pink bag, they are more "artistically spotted" -- whereas the way I see the wallet, it's more even, yet still interesting and handpainted. Also, does it have any scents (perfume, etc)? Thank you! -veronica

Hence all the western things in my closet, that I no longer wear. Also there was the rodeo, and raising cattle. We do none of that any longer. It's funny because I was just lamenting last night about how maybe if I worked a "real job" I could actually wear my gear, instead everything is sitting in the closet in between shows because I don't go anywhere! saucyandsassy @maggiek01 So: I'm assuming you have several venues for selling. Can't help but see a rack of your clothes in a boutique on Rodeo Drive. Perhaps getting someone who's photographed a lot to mention the name of your brand. Wait...what IS the name of your brand? Do you add your label to the garment's existing label? (I was in NYC advertising/marketing in my 'past' life.)

maggiek01 @saucyandsassy Yes all of that sounds well and good, but if you go to Rodeo drive, it is all big corporate brands, the little boutique type places have been totally squeezed out over the last decade... it is a real shame, there is very limited exposure for one of a kind, it is difficult for reps and showrooms to deal with compared to mass produced. All that is a long conversation that is only tolerable with some libations! HA~! I have a few brands for different types of work its "complicated" ;)

What about getting on the radar of stylists for some broadcast shows, say, for instance, to provide the wardrobe of a reality show star or a TV news anchor, someone w high visibility? You don't need me to tell you these things, sorry. Your pieces just need good homes! :-) Have a good weekend. :-)

Ya I am in the mix of trying to find someone to put together some good websites because I have had some pretty crappy luck with web people in the past so it is on my list, but it is not easy to do everything so most of all I need some good help and its honesty not easy to find! Its hard to do the logistics, make things and travel. Years just fly by and you get behind real fast!

I love the word stunning when it is applied to my work thankyou! ;) Hey, all I can say is this, better to have one really awesome bag that is a standout that noone else has in the world and get rid of 10 others. It is an art piece you can take out into the world and put some miles on with everyday, so you should not feel too bad because it gets more use than say a dress that you can't wear all the time. That is why I started making the bags.... utilitarian! ;)
