Hi there I just opened my acct. Not sure what I’m doing but I would like to do this. I have a closet full of good outfits I either don’t fit into or just don’t have anywhere to wear. @maggiecordova Maggie, started in March 2016, with one pair of sandals that took me 6 months to sell. I decided last Spring to get more serious & sell my own stuff & did quite well. I arrange most things on my breakfast room floor & style it the way I would wear it. Maybe a pair of sandals & a crossbody bag or a necklace & straw hat. I take pix in daylight with my blinds open. Dark pictures say you are hiding some defect. I check on Poshmark & eBay to see what prices are on similar items. —->

@maggiecordova I try to price listings with Poshmark’s 20% fee & some wiggle room in mind, but also that buyer is adding $6.49 to the final price. I use white tissue paper to fold my clothing listings to prepare for shipping, then insert into a plastic, sealable bag. I gift wrap that, bubble wrap that, add a personal note, tie on ribbon & seal in USPS Priority envelope or box. I always ship within 24 hrs, usually sooner. I usually sell just ladies clothing, shoes & jewelry. Patti

@maggiecordova Poshmark sends an email that includes a sheet with a picture of the item & attachment with the shipping label. Print both. Go to post office for PRIORITY big envelope. I would wrap the shoes in bubble wrap ( WalMart.) Use thank you note to tell buyer you appreciate their shopping your Closet. Seal shoes in Post Office envelope. Cut out prepaid shipping label from Poshmark & tape on post office envelope. Take back to the Post Office & give to them. Let me know how it goes. Patti

If you don't share, you will only limit yourself to your followers. When I share your items, all of my followers will see your items as well.⚠️BEWARE!! FAKE POSHERS (SCAMMERS). @maggiecordova Hi Maggie, it’s important to share your own items several times a day. As far as sharing others items in there closet it doesn’t have to be something you like. When you share it it goes to your followers feed. So someone else might like and buy it. You don’t have to purchase something to share an item.

@maggiecordova sales vary they are never the same from day to day. You may not have any sales then the next day you may get several. If you decide to not sell an item you can edit your listing and change your listing not for sale. Or delete it.

@maggiecordova Hi Maggie, just go to your home page, near the bottom is Sellers Tools. Click on that, then click on Vacation Hold. Tell it the dates you want your Closet on hold. This will put a message at the bottom of each page of your Closet and a Not For Sale banner on each listing. Let me know if you have any problems doing this. Thank you for asking . Patti
