fairlygirly Everything in my boutique is new, just like you'd fit in a local boutique. I appreciate your interest, but making an offer of 22% of my listed price really isn't appropriate. As a courtesy, I countered so you have the chance to submit a more reasonable offer.

fairlygirly @twiggy848 Most of my listing prices are somewhat negotiable, but there's a difference between asking for a discount and being rude. There's no way I'm going to sell anything in my boutique for 70% off. Submitting lowball offers will, more often than not, upset and frustrate a seller. Many outright decline and block those who submit lowball offers. I don't usually do that, but it definitely isn't the way to get the best price possible.

fairlygirly @twiggy848 Countering with my full price should let you know that your offer was not even anywhere close to reasonable. Again, I do that as a courtesy as opposed to declining outright. I offer discounts to buyers who make reasonable offers.
