yourbadlilangel Hi Maren, my old man pointed out that shipping on the skates will likely be higher than the norm so I'm just trying to accommodate for that & staying at what I paid for them myself. didn't want you to think I was being difficult. thanks for your interest and offer.

yourbadlilangel ok Maren I took the pkg down to the post office today & they said it weighed 7lbs 9oz and that the Poshmark label only covers up to 5lbs. well I thought it would be a couple of bucks at most but when I looked it up on Poshmark help center I was shocked to find out the upgrade fee for up to 8lbs is $11.97?!!! and it would be deducted from my earnings ($28). leaving me with a total of $16 earnings for my skates. not sure what to do now.

yourbadlilangel @marenrose14 I mean I wanted to get as much of my $ back as possible you know? I thought I was being realistic. But with Posh's fee & the shipping upgrade fee... well I just don't think anyone's going to actually give me $48 (+$7 shipping) you know?

yourbadlilangel Hi again Maren, I really want to apologize for this because I know you were looking forward to the skates but I just can't rationalize letting these go for $16. It's really unfair to all of us that Posh's fees are so excessive & I'd made peace w/the 20% cut & moved forward... But the exhorbitant rate schedule for upgraded shipping is just obscene.

yourbadlilangel I apologize & accept full responsibility for assuming that the shipping increase would be reasonable & not actually looking up the exact shipping prices before listing the skates. TBH I don't own a scale so I didn't even know the skate's exact weight til yesterday. Again, I can't stress how sorry & embarrassed I am about this.

yourbadlilangel I will be relisting the skates with the new price of $48 FIRM. I will also be including a pic of Posh's upgraded shipping rates, along with an explanation/breakdown. I wanted you to know that you are the only person I would consider selling the skates to for the price of $42 (which would be us splitting the $12 increase for shipping). I completely understand if you want to pass but I'm hoping you won't.
