nataliasf Hi there, I received your note, thank you so much for your kind words. :) The handbag was stored inside of its dust bag in a climate-controlled closet and I had never noticed a chemical odor - I am uncertain as to how the smell may have transferred to the purse but I assume it happened while the package was in transit. I hope you enjoy the purse for years to come!

dejavuitton The faure tote was a gift. It’s a great bag and very roomy. You may be better off with the everlane, which is all leather. Both bags are large and will easily carry a laptop
