@panella54 Happy birthday, yes, I know how 40th birthday feel is. I spent my morning in Temecula for hot air balloon and ended the night with birthday dinner at Ritz Carlton with 11 family and friends 5 years ago. You can celebrate 🍾 anytime after this covid19 and try to go to Pineapple hotel there, Little Italy, USS Midway, Glasslamp quarter, Corvette diner, SeaWorld, Legoland and of course the shopping at Carlsbad. Happy Birthday.

@panella54 yes, I do agree celebration can be anytime, LoL. as for my 40th celebration, it is my dream to celebrate in 5 star hotel even dinner only. I asked my 4 besties to make their gift cash instead ranging from $50 to $100 to add to the budget and I paid for 8 more family members it was $3300 for 12 pax with French and Italian wine, Steak, lobster 🦞 complete package including tres leches cake 🎂

@panella54 if you do go in San Diego after this covid19, Little Italy has the best Italian restaurants and idessert is a good sweets place to go. Corvette diner is also a different kind of experience, the glasslamp quarter riding the lighted bicycle 🚲 with sidecar at night is so much fun and girl, the party party at glasslamp quarter is so much fun.

@panella54 and if you are already in California, 2 hours drive from San Diego could take you to Beverly Hills Rodeo Drive for shopping. Santa Monica and Venice Beach. Hollywood for other nigh life party, i recommend Chateau Marmont and Avalon Hollywood to party the night 🌙. Happy birthday again.
