bellesparrow @maribeltapia15 Hi Maribel! The “Counter” button allows you to make a counter offer. For example, I offer you $10 for a top, but you’d really like $15 for it. Instead of declining my offer (and ending negotiations) you can counter offer $15. Buyers and sellers can go back and forth until one of them either accepts or declines. Counter offering is always better than declining I’ve found because it keeps the “conversation” going and will lead to more sales and happier customers!

bellesparrow @maribeltapia15 *Tip: Counter offers are binding. If the buyer accepts you are committed to that price, so make sure you’re happy with it! Also, once you counter a price, you can’t raise it. In our example with the top, if you countered $14, your next offer has to be $14 or less, you can’t go back to $15 in that particular negotiation. bellesparrow @maribeltapia15 That is a major perk of Poshmark over eBay or other platforms! They handle all of the payment info and offer protection for buyers and sellers. Payment is processed immediately once a deal is made. If it doesn’t go through Poshmark won’t process the order and you’re totally safe. I’ve been selling on Posh for over 3 years and I’ve never had an issue, it’s great!

bellesparrow @maribeltapia15 So you accept the offer, Poshmark processes everything, including payment, and a couple things happen immediately/simultaneously... 1) Poshmark notifies the buyer that you accepted their offer. 2) Poshmark emails you the buyer’s order info and a prepaid shipping label. 3) Your listing is marked as sold.

bellesparrow @maribeltapia15 From that point, you will want to print out the shipping label emailed to you, package up their purchase for shipping and affix the label to the box, then drop the order off at the post office ASAP (Within 48 hours is good, 24 hours is ideal and your customers will love it!)

bellesparrow @maribeltapia15 Once the order arrives to your buyer, they have 3 days to accept it. This allows time to make sure you held up your end of the bargain and the item is as described in your listing. Once your buyer receives the order and/or 3 days have passed (whichever comes first) Poshmark will make the funds available to you in your Posh balance. You can keep it stored there, or have it direct deposited to a checking/savings account. :)

bellesparrow @maribeltapia15 Hi! That means that the post office hasn’t scanned it into their tracking system yet. Once they scan it, Poshmark will change the label to shipped and you’ll get credit for shipping it. How quickly you ship is averaged out for all of your shipments and plays a role in your Posh stats and eligibility for becoming a Posh Ambassador! :)

instylewithmari @bellesparrow I made a purchase on Friday. I made and offer and seller accepted. She did mention that she was out of town and that she would ship it either Monday or Tuesday. But I would like to cancel the order because I found another item I like better instead can I still cancel? she hasn't shipped it yet

bellesparrow @mcassidy7 Once the item is shipped you won’t be able to cancel, but if the app still gives you the option, then yes, you can cancel. I would reach out to the seller though, just as a courtesy to give her a heads up you intend to cancel. Poshmark doesn’t always register the shipment straight away and if the package is in limbo it could cause both of you some difficulty! Best of luck! Happy Poshing! - Erin
