Hi! I'm Marie. I am a shoe aficionado (aka addict)! My husband needs closet space so many of my 850+ pairs must go. They are generally size 9 or size 9.5. An occasional 8.5 might show up in a sandal. >> Jan 2021: Thank you to the wonderful people I’ve met through PM! I’m happy to say I’ve sold/traded almost 130 pairs of shoes/boots (& received only 1 insulting offer of $3 for new boots. True)! Between PM & donations I now have < 300 pairs! Holy Cow! mschanke @mmkelley409 Hi! Do you know how to take advantage of PM’s “reduced shipping is on them” via YOUR OFFER? All I can find is MAKE AN OFFER and reduced shipping is not picked up by PM in that case.

mmkelley409 @mschanke Hi there - Are you you’re talking about closet clear out? If so, you have to click on an item, in your closet, then click on offer/price drop at the bottom right side of your screen. You have to reduce the price of that item by at least 10%.

mmkelley409 Then PM will send a notice to all the people that liked that item telling them that the price is lowered. If they choose to purchase the item, PM will give the buyer a reduced shipping fee. That way you don’t have to offer reduced shipping.

mschanke @mmkelley409 Hi. I sold 2 pairs of shoes today through the method you describe. The field where you enter the reduced price is labeled “Your Offer” but the entire form is labeled “Make an Offer.” In the details PM provides for the closet clear out it specifically states the shipping charge offer does not apply to Make an Offer. I was literally unable to accept the offer form, for either sale, without selecting a shipping discount.

mschanke Am I supposed to select “Offer” or “Price Drop” for PM to pick up the shipping for closet clear out? They mention using the “Your Offer” field which you reach through “Offer.” (Which is how I sold my shoes today yet the shipping discount applied to me). This field does not display through “Price Drop.” In “Price Drop” the field is labeled something like “List Price.”

mmkelley409 @mschanke I’m sorry, I’m not sure why you are having trouble. I tried it on one of my dresses. I clicked on the picture of the dress, then clicked on offer/price drop. Next I clicked on edit listing price. I dropped the price 10% and then finished editing my listing by clicking “next” and “list”.

mmkelley409 PM sent me a message saying thanks for putting the dress on sale, and they would inform all the people who liked the dress of the new price and offer them discounted shipping. That’s all I had to do. I didn’t send an offer to anyone. I just lowered the price by 10% and PM sent notices to all the people who have liked it.
