ak4252 @mariaredmond hi the profile you bought a LV purse from Is a scam. You will either get a super fake purse or an empty box. Make sure to open a case with poshMark ASAP as scammers are hoping you don’t accept purchase within three days so they get their money. Maybe even record your opening the box to use as evidence

ak4252 @mariaredmond unfortunately no unless it’s been less than three hours. You can try emailing Poshmark to see if they can cancel it somehow. Otherwise track and as soon as it’s Delivered I would record yourself opening it for evidence and then do NOT accept it and instead open a case. You can try commenting that you know this is a scam and to please cancel and if they don’t you will open case ASAP. They may realize you know and cancel as they know they won’t get their money

ak4252 @mariaredmond shoot. I would try emailing Poshmark and hopefully they can stop it. I hate how these scammers are ruining the experience on Poshmark for new shoppers like yourself. I spend A LOT of time on my closet and want buyers to have a good experience on Poshmark and obviously a new buyer who gets scammed is not going to have a good experience.

ak4252 @mariaredmond unfortunately there’s not a lot you can do at this point other than DO NOT forget to open a case within three days and DO NOT accidentally “accept package”. If you do do either one, scammer gets your money

ak4252 @mariaredmond yes, for all of Poshmark purchases if it’s not “accepted” on sellers end within 3 days of delivery, funds are automatically released to seller

ak4252 @mariaredmond I think once the package ships, you will then see an option around the lines of problem with order/open a case which you should click on but do not click on accept order or something around those lines.

mariaredmond @ak4252 In all honesty, as long as it looks exactly as pictured, I’m fine with it. I purchased a couple of other LV purses where same thing happened. As soon as I bought them, their pages were unloadable & both only had 1 purse on their page, so I assumed they closed their page because that’s all they had to sell. I assume I’m buying knockoffs at these prices, but all I can afford, all any average person can afford is between $100-$200 for a purse, versus $2,000-$3000.

mariaredmond @ak4252 No. The seller did their end of the transction. They sent one out, I looked at it & found it acceptable, so I kept it. I won’t be buying any more LV & just stick to Coach, my first love when it comes to designer handbags & sunglasses, but, alas, I have more than enough for now. I’ve bought a ton of clothes & coats recently, so I just might try to lay off of Poshmark for a while. I wish you all the best. Please take care.
