kristeninusa Hi Marika. I apologize you weren't satisfied with the packaging of the vest. I felt a box was most appropriate so it could maintain its loft. I'm not certain what smell you encountered with it, as the vest was stored in the same dry bin with the other items I sell and you are the first to mention this.

kristeninusa Maybe it encountered an odor during shipment? With that said, a two star rating suggests you would like to return it, which I would happily accept. I would love to sell this item to someone who will love it.

marika3hintz @kristeninusa Maybe the smell came about during shipping. The box was a bit crumpled and looked old and tattered. I have already washed it to get the smell out and am wearing it today, so I wouldn't feel right returning it. I adjusted my rating.

kristeninusa @fgninifdpojoidf Dang, they definitely did a number on it as the box I sent was in good condition at the time of shipping. Not certain what else I could have done to have avoided that. Didn't think the outside box would have needed a "fragile" sticker, but maybe it did.

eamcostyle Hi Marika, thanks for your rating. Just by way of clarification on the shipping. I note on my shop that shipping WILL be delayed due to Covid. I have medical issues which make me vulnerable as well as my mother who has the same issues. I ship when I HAVE to get groceries to minimize exposure. I also live way up in the mountains.
