moodymetoo Hi. I understand, I don’t really know a lot about this site because I don’t sell things and this is kind of new. I was looking for a pair of boots last week and I bought a pair off here, but I don’t think they’ve even been shipped yet. So yes I am very new, I didn’t even know that fraud was a thing on this site. I hope this doesn’t mean I got taken on the boots! How do I know if I was? Also, I understand about you being protective of your Aunt’s coat, I don’t really know what else to say.

pdgmurphy @moodymetoo yes I understand I am mostly a seller on here and not buying much but there is definitely a lot of scams if you are a seller or buyer I really do want to sell her coat for her the coat is in great condition but I would not accept returns because of the cost so I would want someone to be very sure they want it and sure that it works for them. oncevthe coat sells I would give her the money so any returns would fall on me and I don't want to deal with that.

pdgmurphy I do know that people come on here and see something they want and make an account and then buy it so their account is fairly new and they can be completely honest but the crooks make it hard for you to know people will say they didn't get the item even though it was delivered or say that something is wrong with the item and then want to return it and then send back something totally different it's terrible then you have to try and work with poshmark. the crooks get their money back

moodymetoo @pdgmurphy this is my third response to you, I didn’t realize I was limited to 500 words. Short and sweet… I hope I didn’t get scammed on the boots, I put them on my Apple card so I’m thinking they will back me. I would love to have the coat, but if you feel uncomfortable I completely understand! You do what you feel is right.

moodymetoo @pdgmurphy I didn’t reach out to the seller because when I did a Google search it said that some sellers don’t ship things out before the fifth day because they don’t get paid until the fourth day. So I guess they want to make sure they get paid before they ship it?

moodymetoo @pdgmurphy Oh my word!!!! Seriously?! Well, how is it that a seller can sell something, and someone like me, well you really don’t know so you hesitate. I get it. But how am I supposed to buy something? Do I buy a lot of small things first? Does it show on my account when I purchase some thing and paid for it and it’s been shipped to me? Like will the boots show up so that people like you can see?

pdgmurphy you don't get paid until you ship the item and the buyer gets it and then rates you. if they don't rate you in a few days and make no complaints they will just release your money

moodymetoo @pdgmurphy I really appreciate it, I am understanding a little better now, you have no reason to trust me. Let me know honestly about the coat tomorrow, if your aunt is willing to sell it to me but she doesn’t feel comfortable with my offer, please reach out. I really like older stuff, I’m very sentimental. If for some reason it didn’t fit me I would give it to my daughter. But like I said, you have to do what you feel comfortable with.

Oh boy, my trying to save money on $200 boots may have backfired. Anyway, I totally get your reservation about selling me the coat.
