arianna__s Not sure if you saw, but apparently the shipping has been slowed down a bit by weather. Still on the way but could be an extra couple days for the clogs!

happyday111960 Good Morning Marissa! Just a quick note to let you know I've been watching your package & finally, its started tracking!! I want you to know that I personally handed this to the post-people the same day you bought it (about 215p--2 hours after I printed the label) & they told me that it would be scanned in that day, but it wasn't! In fact, It was never scanned in at the origin point at all. I called the USPS yesterday & spoke to a rep who told me they never scanned the package at the origin.

happyday111960 It went 3 days w/no scan! Good news is that according to the updated tracking, you should receive it today. But please know that there was no delay on my end in shipping at all. It went out the same day you purchased it!

marissaglbrt @happyday111960 Hi, I got the package today, and your note was very sweet. However, when I took the shoes out I put them on and noticed right away that they were sticking to the floor. At first I thought it might’ve been something that go on there and would come off with a little bit of walking around. But then I noticed I was leaving black foot prints behind me. I tried to kind of scrape the stickiness off but the soles started to kind of melt and crumbled.

marissaglbrt @happyday111960 I’m wondering if you maybe used some kind of cleaning solution on the shoes that made them melt like that? I’ve never seen anything like it. I’ve been wearing Danskos for years because, like you said, they are great when you’re on your feet all day.

happyday111960 @marissaglbrt OH MY! These were not mine, so I never wore them, I agreed to sell them for someone else. When I wrapped them w/bubble wrap I didn’t experience any sticking or marks. Do you think they might have been exposed to heat or something in the shipping? I wonder what would cause them to do that? I’m curious because there was such a lapse in the shipping & no one at USPS seems to be able to answer what happened to them for 3 days!

happyday111960 In the meantime try gently brushing/rubbing some Vaseline or cooking oil on the bottoms. I’ll look into this on this end.

marissaglbrt I guess since I cannot wear them and will have to throw them out I would like a refund. Could I just have the price of the shoes refunded? and I'll eat the cost of the shipping. I could ship them back to you but I don't know what you would be able to do with them.

marissaglbrt @happyday111960 I just looked at the return policy for Poshmark (I've never returned anything here). It looks like my photos will be reviewed and they will decide if I can return them. They send me a shipping label and I will ship them back to you. Sorry that this happened! I'm sure you are as disappointed as I am.

happyday111960 @marissaglbrt Hi Marissa! I tried to see the pics but I cant see any at all. In any case, what you described is totally unacceptable in any product and I'm mortified! I tried to cancel the sale for you, but Poshmark doesn't allow cancels after the item has been delivered. I would greatly appreciate your returning them if Poshmark sends you a label and dont throw them out.

happyday111960 Unless Poshmark states otherwise, I assume the full amount will be refunded including original shipping. I dont have any experience in this area since this has never happened to me on a sale before and I've never returned anything or had anything returned to me. I'm sure Poshmark will make you "whole" in this transaction and i will request they refund you in full.

marissaglbrt Thank you for your understanding! I really appreciate it. I'm certain the issue was not your fault. Really don't know what could have happened. I will ship them back if they approve the refund. I have all the packaging, except the original bubble wrap I threw away, but I have some packing insulation that will work.

I will do my best to help. Please dont even worry about the bubble wrap. Just throw them in the box! If this is your first purchase on Poshmark, please dont let this influence your future purchases. Its a great site with great products & people. Everyone I've met is soooo nice & we all work together to make a great environment.
