Overall Tip - Report & block anyone asking to email/text photos, they are scammers who send phishing msgs for banking info! Keep all interactions on Poshmark for buyer/seller protection.

@geekedoutstyle so am I being scammed? Email from person on here saying they bought my item. The email looks like it’s from poshmark. But then it’s asking me for my cc info. Seems fake. Just checking

@4ld81 Correct - you’re being scammed. If the item sold on Poshmark, the app would send a notification, you’d have an email with a shipping label, the listing would be marked as sold so no one else buys it, and it would be on the order/sales section of the app. If you’re a seller on Poshmark they don’t ask for your cc, to get your money you enter your banking info on the app when you want to cash out, they don’t send an email with a link.
