sammike1 Hi. I received the shoes and accepted by I notice the soles I’m the bottom are like soft and peeling off. The same for the inside of the shoe. Where they recently painted?

lillyluvr222 @sammike1 No, they weren’t painted & I don’t even know what could cause this! I’ve never had that happen to a pair of shoes. Were they that way when they arrived or exposed to any heat or chemicals afterwards? They were not that way when I shipped but maybe they were exposed to some heat after shipping while sealed in the protective plastic & there was a chemical reaction or the rubber melted? I’m so sorry & will help you of course! I’m going to email Poshmark right now & ask what to do!

lillyluvr222 @sammike1 Hi Marta, I emailed Poshmark to help you and just heard back from them today. They told me to have you reach out to them directly also so they can help you. I guess they can’t do anything by only my request as the seller. Hopefully USPS insurance covers this if heat damage occurred during transit or something. Maybe because they were sealed inside plastic and a chemical reaction covered? I still can’t figure it out but they said they will help us! Please contact them ASAP!!

sammike1 @lillyluvr222 I’ve never seen anything like this. These shoes are basically melting. Why am I responsible. If you look at the pictures that were advertised it was very deceptive. The shoes looked brand new. I took them to a shoe Repair store and they confirmed they painted the inside. I basically got scammed

lillyluvr222 @sammike1 No, I swear I didn’t scam you and I’m not making you responsible at all, please don’t misunderstand. I’m honestly trying to help get your money back but I’m not allowed to do it off the app, it’s the terms of service. Poshmark has asked me to have you just contact them…they can’t take my word for the problem, it has to come from you and I don’t know why that is either, I’m pretty new to all of this myself. I’ve never had a problem with an order before.

lillyluvr222 @sammike1 Marta, I promise my photos were not meant to be deceiving. My phone camera & lighting aren’t great but I try to do the best I can. I bought the shoes pre-owned from Thred Up, a designer resale website, and they didn’t fit so I didn’t wear them. I did not paint anything & I’m sorry I didn’t notice any paint or I would have disclosed it. Maybe it was something on the cork? Maybe they melted sealed in plastic or old cork & rubber melts. I’m trying to get PM to refund you ASAP.

lillyluvr222 @sammike1 Marta, I followed up with Poshmark & they are working on it! I also looked at the packing photos I took when I shipped the shoes & there was no paint on them at that time. Maybe the manufacturer used paints, but the shoes don’t look tampered with or painted anywhere aftermarket. I really love my buyers and am so sorry if they melted, ran or peeled as soon as you wore them …for any reason! I will make sure that you are taken care of!
