Hi! I'm Martie. Thanks for stopping by my closet! My passion is making jewelry! I’m a recently retired cardiac anesthesia technician so now I’m so lucky to be able to be a posher full time. I’m inspired by what I see on people, online, on posh. I’ll learn a technique through a tutorial and make it my own or wake up in the middle of the night with an idea of my own! I love to make custom pieces, so challenge me with your ideas! Happy poshing!

Tap that, the 3 things I sent is a sign up for the Share Group, the 2nd one describes the Topic Discussion Group, the third one is for those of us that make or sell things for pets. Read those it will help. I don't know much but I'm learning. I'm 73 and I never thought I could do all this.😄😄😄

I’ll share a couple times a day, like I’ll do just earrings one time and wrap bracelets the next time, etc. I will keep my bracelet sizing in mind for sure. I kind of judge it to my own wrist, which is average size. Thanks again for your support !

I sit there the whole party and I'm sharing constantly and thats how I get most notice. sharing once and then stopping isn't effective in my eyes. as much time as you are willing to give for this, I would do it. share all items and not just some, because other people like different things and you're more likely to get more notice that way

comfycrafts1430 I've been here. My oldest son came for a visit, it was a wonderful month. Because of Covid and a few other things we hadn't seen him in 6 years. My husband had shoulder replacement surgery and it's been rough. I'm the chauffeur to doc appts, PT etc. he's better and doing more. My youngest son and his wife came for a couple days at Thanksgiving. He helped my husband get out Christmas lights, my husband was determined to still decorate outside. Let's see, yep, that's where I've been. 🤣🤗😁🤩

sdg1rl So, I “liked” some items to kinda show you what I’m looking for. I guess it’s most like your purse charms. But, I like to have a lightweight, Native American, beaded keychain with hanging thingy’s on the bottom. I’d love 1-2 Silver (not gold), charms on it too! I saw a few that I liked. sdg1rl @beadsnbangles in my experience, if there are beads hanging at the bottom, they fall off & break. And i think it may even make it a lot heavier in weight. But I wanted to tell you that I guess my “style,” is Boho or kinda hippy…like in the 60’s & 70’s. I usually gravitate toward blue & purple colors & big flowers & moons & positive vibes (Silver only)! ;)

But I have two homes and a RV so we are constantly going so It’s tough as I have to put my closet on hold a lot. If we are going to be only gone for a few days I will just let the person know when I will be back to ship out what they purchased. But like tonight my husband just told me we are leaving our Lakehouse and he took off to his friends so I have to find out when we will be back.

ssharon I see your about 4-5 hours from some of my family. Going your way soon just have some homes that are needing stuff done to them before we can get on the road. Plus they are in a heat wave and we have been in one since June and drought and now we finally had rain. But the lake is still down 2 feet. Had a great time out on our pontoon yesterday and it was cloudy and perfect!

ssharon @beadsnbangles yes! Unfortunately I forget wear I’m at sometimes as we go go go. And he waits like now last minute to tell me the plan he has. My SUV has a recall so it goes in on Wednesday that’s all that is on my calendar. I have to put everything in my calendar and then share it to his phone or we would be going in circles lol. I enjoy Poshmark but like everywhere you have to be cautious.

ssharon Omg I cannot even spell lol. I’m exhausted and hungry but my husband is picking up food after he brings stuff over to his best friends home. I miss our grandson who passed away two years ago from a rare genetic disorder. And our granddaughter is going to be 13 next month. I miss having kids at home as it’s quiet but my husband said no to adopting children as he likes us coming and going non stop.

ssharon @beadsnbangles I worked for two enormous companies as a Buyer and then I bought a hair salon lol! That was a rollercoaster ride of hormones lol. My husband retired young and wanted me to stay home with grandchildren and help raise them. So that was the best time of my life!!! Then we had to put money into something so we bought homes and have rental business.

ssharon So we are on call 24/7 everyday! When we go out of town we have to schedule with his best friend so he can be on call for us just in case a AC issue or plumbing issue. But I let all our tenants know we have his friend on call and all have met him so we are comfortable to go away. Then I have two homes and 4 toilets in each home. My husband will not let me get a maid so I clean and clean and shop like no bodies business lol!

ssharon @beadsnbangles We bought one a few years before he retired and then once he retired the recession was almost over so we picked up some deals. But we put money back into them as they are our investments. My negotiating skills worked out beautiful getting our homes. None of them flooded durning Harvey and our homes are near the lake so all around homes flooded but we were blessed!

ssharon @beadsnbangles I have loved being on the lake and I have thousands of pictures of sunrises and sunsets and rainbows and double rainbows but property taxes here are not like 1% CA. The property taxes go up each year you have to go to the District and plead and fight to get them to lower even a little bit. It’s horrible. Insurance is extremely high here but homes have been cheaper here but they are starting to get people loosing homes because of high values. Sickening

Sometime I hope to get to Asheville, NC and see if we can get some pieces there since it's a big artsy town but haven't been able to. And, we keep creating more, lol. jemmajewels About the restraining of the pearls, I don’t need them to be fancy dancy. This is what I was considering to do. They were my moms. I’ll never be able to wear them the way I have them they’re quite old I’m just looking to have them made into a necklace like we’re doing with the toggle’s, but making sure you could string them on a stronger line. They’re done with a type of cotton cloth rope.
