marturtle21 @christiansister The green Ribbon is for Organ Donation. Gift of life. I received a liver transplant exactly 3 years on the 3rd of march. I was closer to death at 34 than most people will ever know. I got really lucky.. The university of Pennsylvania saved my life.

christiansister @marturtle21 I am so happy for you congratulations!!!. Organ donation has become so much more real to me as my husband received a heart transplant on January 9 this year at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, they saved his life too!

marturtle21 @christiansister Wow! Thats fantastic! How is he doing? Its not an easy road! I still get tired very easily. But that's from the anti rejection medicine. I was Philly's miracle case. Even tho I was seriously sick I went for my walk every day and always smiled and joked they legit don't know how I survived. I wasn't ready to go. Warrior. I pray he continues to do well..

christiansister @marturtle21 he is doing well!! thanks!! I wish he would be as deligent as you were with the walking. He sits in his chair too much. We have had a long journey but I believe God is on our side. If you dont mind it would be great to hear from you time to time to hear how you are doing? I love to hear a great miracle story. You are so in my prayers.

marturtle21 @christiansister Drop me an email and Ill send you my number. I was all of 32 when I got sick. The local hospital told me there was nothing wrong. After a year I spend a few months in there. And 10 days after getting home from Danville is when I collapsed and they rushed me to Philly. It took 3 days for a full diagnosis. I had a 25% without transplant and the next day I found out I also had cancer in my lady parts. But I was positive and I trusted in god. I was ready either way.

primrose333 @marturtle21 I’m not sure. I graduated in 1984 when Old Forge and Riverside still played in the Big Eleven and the Thanksgiving Day game was the biggest event. Then OF got moved to the Super 16 and now they play schools I’ve never even heard of.

jeanneintahiti @marturtle21 Your story has touched my heart deeply. I know what it’s like to go on feeling ill with either the incorrect diagnosis or just being passed along by doctors. God does have a plan for each of us though, and he has his own timing. I’ll be praying for your continued good health and I’ll be praising God for always being there for those who trust in the lord, with all of their heart and lean not to their own understanding.
