jd52 hi Mary you just purchased my new cotton on backpack but when I just went to package it, I noticed the front clasp is sometimes loose. sometimes it holds perfectly,other times it slips out easily. it is new, never used with tag so I never noticed this before. if you would like to cancel purchase, no problem, but clasp does hold most of times.I tried a dz times and more than half it stayed closed. sorry I hadn't noticed earlier but it's totally up to you. please let me know. thanks, j
