(Briefly lived on Cornelia near Halsted- whenever the Cubs would score you could hear the roar of the crowd even with the windows' closed! :) My husband knew a woman who had lived in the neighborhood who had survived the Titanic disaster, she couldn't stand the sound of the crowd because it reminded her of the sound that the passengers had made as the ship sank....,
