mcmalone @lindamcneil614 Hello! My dad bought this bracelet in New Bedford, MA in the early 70’s. New Bedford is known as the was capital “whaling city” in its day. I sold another authentic, hand carved, whale bone scrimshaw bracelet, about a month ago, that you can see in my closet.

blaise2012 @mcmalone That’s OK. I thought you could be a family member of the late veteran. I found his obituary; he passed away at age 99 on 12/08/2021.

mcmalone @blaise2012 Just read the obituary. That’s definitely our Antone (Tony)! With 3 sons, a daughter, and 7 grandchildren, one would think these medals would have some sentimental value. I have my grandfather’s medals. I also have Antone’s wallet posted on my Poshmark Closet, that includes his military ID.
