@misspos I completely understand! I always use the proceeds from my sales to purchase what I love! And yes, Ma'am -- the Alexandria stones will glow deep pink to red under incandescent light. In fact, the first picture actually shows the pink flashes in the natural light of the fading evening sun without the help of candlelight. :)

I think that is normal. The pandemic has caused a lot of anxiety already. Add to that the worry, and fear of the battle you are facing, and anxiety seems like a given.

Hi dear! I hope you are doing better. My mother-in-law got her cancer again and she is in the progress of chemo treatments. She found out her pyrex dishes and corning ware all have lead in them. She has the same set that I sold but even more and she has several of the pyrex bowls.

Anyways, she just got rid of all of them and I thought I'd let you know or I'd feel terrible. I just got rid of some old pyrex pieces too...they are worth money but it's no point if someone can get sick. There may be lead in my new cookware my husband brought me which we are investigating due to mix reviews but we will see. Wishing you well and take care ❤️.

@cakeandtulips my sister went and checked Google and she found out that you do not use them on the stove and if you use them in the oven you don't cook more than 425 the one that has the lead in them is the designs on the sides of the dishes. how long has your mom been cancer-free was it breast cancer I don't remember

@misspos okay thought I would let you know. I use to use them on the stove all the time and I even had a handle at some point to make them into "pots". we still got rid of everything just to be on the safe side. my MIL has ovarian cancer and the only reason it was found was b.c. she had stomach poisoning and the doctor found it. she had it three years ago and it just came back. the doctor seems hopeful so we are keeping positive!

@cakeandtulips was doing really bad did not know what was going on blood count was five doctor canceled my chemo and made me go get blood feel so wonderful Tuesday is my next dose for chemo it's a lighter dose which I am very happy about the last chemos I had was a very strong chemo I'm done with that hallelujah. you should go get checked for lead poisoning since you've been eating out of those dishes since you were cooking on the stove. I will keep you and your mother-in-law in my prayers

I still have 3 months to go of chemo once a week I just pray to God it does not zap my blood again like it did before.

@jcjones46 well I had another chemo yesterday and so the shots I've been getting I have to keep getting them to keep my white blood cells up she said next time they check my blood if they look really really really good then maybe she'll take one week of shots off.
