maryy2k6 @melissaprior Actually, I have a question. I was wondering how followers work. I joined yesterday and only remember following a handful of people. Now it says I have over 150 followers and over 150 people follow me. Does Poshmark automatically assign followers? Does more followers translate into more sales? I’m used to how following works on Twitter and Instagram, but this seems different.

melissaprior @maryy2k6 Ji, ok at 1st poshers find you from meet ur new posher, or like me I come to you to offer help. So, example of followers. I sell prom dresses. I post my listings 3+ times a day. Msry sees my prom dress & follows me. She doesn’t need a prom dress so she then takes that dress & forwards to her followers... who possibly have daughters needing prom dresses. Then they follow me to look at the dresses. And so on... your customers can be onlookers that just so happen to be on the “feed”...

maryy2k6 @melissaprior Thanks. That part makes sense, but I’m not sure why it says I follow 158 people. I believe I only clicked follow on about 20 or so. I don’t mind. I was wondering if Poshmark automatically signs you up to follow when you are new. If so, perhaps some of my followers didn’t actively follow me, but were assigned to follow me. That’s fine, if that’s the case. I’m new here, so I’m just trying to figure out how it works.

melissaprior Forgot to mention one thing to you... this is only a suggestion cuz I have same problem. If you can lay your darker items down for photo, they show up better. I use a white furry rug or wood floor. It also shows width better and do your measurements on dresses. I have some examples if you wanna peek.... 🤗
