kbbubbab14 @goopy1 you just scroll down to where it shows how many people liked the listing, it’s right below the +add to a bundle option, then just click on one of the names and a list will pop up. Click all the blue bottoms you see on that list. Then you will be following them all. Some people sell as a business, sell from thrift store finds, or like myself, from our own closets.

stefi_bbb Hi Mary, I noticed you hadn’t received your items yet. I was surprised since I mailed the package the same day you ordered (Aug 7) and it’s been almost a week. I called USPS and asked about the status. I was informed some of the packages are just taking a bit longer due to the fires along the west coast. So hopefully it’ll arrive today or tomorrow. 😊

goopy1 @marla_p Hi, I found out about the posters. They are made using apps from the App Store. A few to try are Canva, POTO, and pic collage. They are free, but take some practice and lots of time. I tried a couple and got frustrated so I quit. Good luck!

goopy1 @ecreations20 Hi, my suggestion would be to take better pictures. Some of yours seem to be out of focus. I was able to buy a mannequin online fairly cheaply. This really helps to feature your tops by showing possible full outfits including accessories. Also adding measurements helps your buyer decide if something will work for them. By looking at other people’s closets you can get new ideas of how to display items. Just a couple suggestions! Happy poshing! 😉❤️❤️❤️

I saw a cat video on YouTube, hilarious with a guy who puts plastic wrap, aluminum foil, etc on his entry floor and times the cat to watch it walk on the surface. goopy1 @silkshoes Hi, welcome! I have found that it is better to either ignore or counter. If you decline you will get an email from Poshmark! I don't really understand why anyone declines, just ignore it. It goes away eventually. Or if they are not way off base, counter, that has worked for me a lot of times. goopy1 @silkshoes Hi Karyn, when I am looking at my closet, the dates under some items seem to be the dates I first listed the item, but when I click on the individual item, it shows the date as the last time I shared the item. There is a way to change that, and I found this as someone’s suggestion to help your sales, bring up the item, click edit in right hand corner. From here you can actually edit your item, which can be just moving around the order of your pictures,

goopy1 @markgrickis Hi Mark, you set the selling price, shipping is determined by poshmark. Shipping is $7.19 I believe, unless the item weighs over 5 lbs. Then there is an additional shipping cost. When another posher likes your item, you can offer them a discount on the selling price and the shipping. I always set my selling price higher to compensate for the 20% that poshmark takes.

goopy1 @pilgrim6 Hi Janeene, The secret to more followers is follow more people. I used to play a follow game, but you don’t even have to do that. Look for someone who is following lots of people. tbeldon @goopy1 hi! You have so much success selling I would like some advice pls. When someone adds 1 item to a bundle, what do you do? The last time I discounted the item 30% and also gave discounted shipping with no response. I assume she wanted lower price but also asked her to make an offer and she didn’t . I now have someone who added a “4 for $20 “ item to her bundle. I am not sure what to do because the item is already so cheap!Help! Thks!

goopy1 @tbeldon Hi Tracy, I find that most of the time people bundle by accident. It’s easy to do if you have your finger on the item for too long. In a case where it’s a really cheap item, I would just ignore it. Or you could just reinstate your price in the bundle. I have had very few bundle sales. Don’t feel pressured to do a give away. If they are really interested they will make the offer. Happy poshing. PS. Is that Dublin Castle in your picture?

goopy1 @tbeldon You’re welcome! I didn’t know how host picks worked until I asked another posher. A host pick doesn’t guarantee a sale, but it gives your closet a lot more exposure. You have to ask for a host pick. When you get the messages in your feed about the parties, go to the one you want to be featured in. Click on the hosts and look for a listing in their closet about the party.

I can’t really offer discounted shipping at this low of price. Normally item just sells at low price, not put in a bundle when it’s $6. It was listed for $3 for $25. What would you do? goopy1 @tbeldon Hi! It may be too late for advice but....I had someone buy 2 Items separately at full price, and I felt bad about them paying shipping twice, so I sent them a msg and got no response. I cancelled the sales, put them in a bundle and gave a discount, plus they just pay $4.99 shipping on both. I never heard another thing from her. Nothing. If I had it to do over again, I would have just gone through with the 2 sales. Hope this helps.

I think that will also happen to me-if I cancel sales, I will lose both.. I think I will wait 72 hours and then do what you suggest and ship them separately If no response. So I countered, and only actually went up $4 for one and $2 for the other. Both items were brand new pairs of shoes. And both counter offers were ignored, and expired. goopy1 @tbeldon Hi Tracy! This is a tough one. You never know if your gamble pays off until it’s too late. If it’s a really lowball offer, I almost always counter, unless it’s something I am tired of looking at and just want to get rid of. I just figure I will wait for the right person to come along. I have had people come back days later after declining with another offer. I have had people keep making the same lowball offer, those I ignore. There is no right answer to this one. Stay safe. 😘

goopy1 @tbeldon Sometimes I’m not patient either. I get frustrated and use closet clear out or whatever they call it when they pay the shipping discount. That almost never works. Then I have to go through and raise all the prices back up. The last couple weeks I have had hardly any sales, but today something happened and I sold 6 items! It was so weird, and on a Wednesday. I always thought weekends were busier but not so lately.

Tip number 1 is when you send someone a message you have to address it with the @ and their closet name or they might not see it. I very nicely said I was sorry she wasn’t happy and asked what the problem was and, of course, got no response. Then I looked at her closet and her descriptions. She said things like “cute dress” for a description.

goopy1 @tbeldon I gave much more description than she did. When she wouldn’t respond I was pissed. I think she just did it to bring down my ratings. So I blocked her! I’m not dealing with people like her. There is nothing else you can do. Apologize, for nothing, and ask why. If she doesn’t have a legit reason, block her.

This woman asked if the hat I modeled in the listing was the same item she would be receiving, like I knit one just to model and had one untouched by human hands because, get this…..covid. I politely told her you couldn’t get covid from a hat. She said ha, ha thanks for the faux science lesson, Karen. Ass#ole blocked!!!

You are allowed to reposh items that you bought here and I think there is a setting to give permission to use your pictures but I’m not sure where that is.She should at least have to take her own pictures. You def don’t want to start a fight with someone on Poshmark, it’s not worth it.

goopy1 @tbeldon I had another bad experience where this young girl bought a fleece pullover from me for really cheap like $9 and it didn’t get delivered for a long time. I just wanted to be rid of it. I looked at the tracking and she must have had a PO Box or something because they were holding it at the PO for 7 days!!! I sent her a msg to please pick up your package twice and got no response. Then I sent another saying it had been there for 7 days using multiple exclamation points.

goopy1 @tbeldon They were getting ready to send it back to me and I didn’t want it back. Well she didn’t like that and she told me to “calm down”, that she was out of town at a funeral. A 7 day funeral. 🤔 So I said sorry, why didn’t you say something, and her smart ass reply was “ oh yeah, I should make you a priority in my time of grief” Then she gave me a 2 star rating and said in her comments that I “bullied” her into picking it up from the PO.

tbeldon @goopy1 hi! Hope you are doing great and had a wonderful Christmas! I always turn to the best posh ambassador for advice!🥰 I sold a sweatshirt and buyer wants to return because too small. I have never had someone asked to return an item. I put measurements in photo. Fits as medium. But, I see posh doesn’t allow returns for fit. I don’t know if I can offer to do anything else to make them happy? Not sure what to do. Any suggestions? Thanks always for your help! ❤️

goopy1 @tbeldon @beldon Hi Tracy! I had a great Christmas. My kids left this morning so it's very quiet now. You are right thereare no returns with Poshmark. If the item wasn't as advertised or was the wrong item, they could cancel the sale and Poshmark would refund their money, but fit is not a reason.

goopy1 @tbeldon I just sold an item and it didn't fit the buyer, she didn't ask for measurements and I didn't Include them in the description. She gave me 5 stars and said she would reposh it. All you can do is apologize. Happy New Year! 🥳

goopy1 @tbeldon No I will not do a live. I started doing some sourcing from other resellers who buy pallets. Thru one of them I discovered Whatnot, which is an auction site. They are all live auctions and I know that’s why Poshmark started encouraging sellers to do live sales. I was pissed when I heard they were starting that.

goopy1 @tbeldon And I was really pissed when they started with the constant live sale notifications. It was a disaster in the beginning, they released it too soon and didn’t have the bugs worked out, meaning there was no discounted shipping or bundling. Buyers were pissed and canceled after the show, and they expected the sellers to redo everything in bundles after the show ended.

goopy1 @tbeldon They hurt the rest of us because lives sell at much lower prices and buyers expect everyone else to do the same. Lives require special lighting and LOTS of time. It’s not for me either. I have gotten some great inventory on whatnot, and learned what lives are like, they are better than Poshmark lives in my opinion.

tbeldon @goopy1 I am not a fan of lives and I also think they hurt my sales because they sell stuff so low. One person did sell one of my dresses, but i priced it low. I had to watch over an hour. Not worth it. My hubby also happy the tax laws didn’t pass, and my sales are nothing compared to yours! Your closet is amazing, and you are the top seller & most helpful ambassador in my opinion! That auction site has made your closet even more top notch! 😍 Thanks again &Happy New Year! 🎆🎈

tbeldon @goopy1 that is a great way to describe a silent auction, and I so agree! The ultimate laziness! I also hope they just do away with all the shows, but I doubt they will. One lady actually teaches a yoga class on her morning live show! Regularly! I was so surprised, so I know Poshnatk doesn’t monitor. Enjoy the rest of your holidays with your hubby! 🥰🥰❤️❤️
