mlejea I am so sorry for your loss. I go to a lot of concerts and show to do live painting to music and I understand how dangerous the new world is for young people. I always try to spread awareness and compassion and help all the people I meet at these events and have all the prayers and love for you to bear through this. Poshing does help like therapy during difficult times. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. God bless.

maryjanehall @mlejea thank you for your kind words. I have been dealt a tough hand on this earth. Brendan also had an older sister- Morgan. They were ridiculously close. They were only 19 months apart. Morgan was Brendan’s idol. She not only was beautiful, but disciplined and much more outgoing than he was. She attended the College of Charleston on a swimming scholarship where she broke the school’s standing butterfly record. Long, long, sad story-

maryjanehall @mlejea Morgan graduated from the College and got her first real job. Brendan returned to school to finish his senior year. 3 months into her job- Morgan passed away in her sleep. We flew Brendan home for her funeral and he never returned to Charleston- not even to get his car or belongings

maryjanehall @mlejea He fell into the deepest, darkest depression and isolated himself. Despite therapy, meditation and any and everything we could try- Brendan just couldn’t get his feet back on the ground. He turned to drugs to numb himself from the pain and unfortunately died from a heroin/fentanyl overdose a few years later

maryjanehall @mlejea I truly believed that he didn’t care if he lived or died. My only two precious children are together again and I hope Brendan is at peace. I have a life filled with suffering and sadness and it is very lonely. I appreciate the prayers- I believe that is what gives me my strength to get out of bed every morning. God bless you, too

mlejea @maryjanehall wow. that is very sad. I actually heard a similar story on social media a few months ago only the boy was missing in one of my groups. There have been many sad stories of young people like your children in my social circle. as a live painter in the music scene there are sooo many young people who needlessly suffer and suddenly pass away. prayers and 🙏❤️ healing 💝 for you
