2tingalings What kind of nursing? I’ve been an oncology nurse probably longer than you’ve been alive! I too love vintage and absolutely love to hit my estate sales. My kids say I would probably run someone over to get to one!

mr0789 @2tingalings oh, let me tell you! Estate sales, thrift stores, garage sales...I take my mom with me and sometimes she has to drag me out! I will literally look through every last bin and box until I find the hidden treasures. I’m so in love with your closet right now! I would love to get some tips from you; you do so well with sales! And finally, to answer your question, my background is all ICU, but for the last year I have been working psych. I’m working toward a DNP, PMHNP. :)

2tingalings @mr0789 we would be bad together! I relate totally. I think it’s my therapy personally but the hunt is the best. I buy things I like and have my partner in my head saying we have no more room! I started doing this after I blew out my L5/S1 this year and was going crazy! My sister took me to sales and I would point with my cane to have her bend down and look! I think it’s a heredity disorder!

2tingalings By the way I give you kiddos to get into mental health which is ridiculously underserved! We need to change so much of our attitudes and biases in this arena. Good luck in your career but keep yourself healthy and happy because that’s an area that will wear you down....

mr0789 @2tingalings I can relate I have an entire closet with nothing but things to sell and half a room of things I’m still working on. Upcycling is my newest passion! Yes, psych is incredibly underserved and so often looked over. It’s still very taboo in this country. Shopping is my therapy as well. I also make organic products like bath salts, bath bombs, shampoo, soaps, shaving cream, etc. I hope to open my own store one day! Thanks for the luck, I need it!

I have a few vintage LV bags that I'm working to get posted this morning! If you reference my closet you will fine a Speedy 30 from the 1970's that was sold... I have the same bag that is going to be posted today! Although, this one is in a little better condition with the locket still attached to the original zipper.
