passthewatch Hi, I didn’t know where else to leave a message but I just wanted to let you know that the SNZH53 you just purchased may need a movement change. I was about to close your package and I noticed it stopped. It could be I didn’t move it enough but I just wanted to make sure if you still wanted it before I ship. Let me know asap

mtbrenzo Thanks for letting me know! It's no problem since I actually bought this one with the intention of changing the movement anyway and already have a new one on order. I got the first one with the intent to mod it but I like it a lot as is so I decided to keep it as is and buy this second one for the modification.

mtbrenzo @deankillough Sure thing, sorry you ended up with it. A big indicator is when the bezel pip sticks up like that. The OEM ones are usually flush.

mtbrenzo @deankillough That's the easiest thing to spot but once in a while it's still original with just a replacement insert. Other things to look for are inconsistencies in crown size, color of lume between hands and indices, color match on day and date wheel. Didn't get a good look at the dial to tell if it was OEM or not. The model code on the caseback should also match what's printed on the dial. It is possible yours was an original case and bracelet with aftermarket parts put in it too.

mtbrenzo @deankillough Some do, but the bezel insert on yours is definitely not OEM. Other parts may be jumbled together, which wouldn't make a whole lot of sense anyway because that model has a lot of parts available for it. Do you have anything to open the caseback and see what movement is inside? Also did you order it from the US?
